You're welcome. Methadone is a particularly safe drug, I think. Some people don't do well with it. But you would know already if you didn't. Those who don't have an allergy to it.
There are no long term side effects either, that I'm aware of. It metabolizes easily through the kidneys, if I'm not mistaken, and it's been used for years and years by people without any harmful effects.
