Well,,,, School is over for me. I have had it-burnt out city. I decided not to go back to work at the schoolthis year, it just isn't getting me anywhere, no benefits, no insurance, no paid vacation at only $7.00 pr hr. But I did go put my application in at our local sheriffs dept. and guess what? I got the job. I am working in the dispatch part time but if I pass the training and the test I will be full time. That is $11.00 pr hr. two week paid vaction, insurance included. What a difference huh? The down side,,, I will have to make arrangements for my daughter and caring for my mother. I hope things are finally looking up. I hope every one on the forum is doing well, I do feel bad because I haven't had the time to keep up with everyone. But please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Tammy |

Well I know I haven't posted much at all lately, and i'm sorry but this job has kept me so busy I barely have time to breathe. All of my training is over as far as traveling to get training, it is all hands on now. I'm already to quit, the stress up there is unbelievable. I haven't checked my bs this week yet but I bet its up there. I am hoping things will ease up some but I dobt that very much, there is always something happening somewhere here so the stress is there. I can't believe Christmas and Thanksgiving is already this close. I have even bought some Christmas gifts. I never do that this early. I'm one of those that goes shopping somewhere around the twentyth of December. lol Anyway I just wanted to check in and post and update. Maybe I will be able to actually sit down and visit one of these days. I hope everyone is doing well. I will try and sit down ad read some of your posts when I can. Take care all. Tams |

Tams: You aren't the only one shopping early. I had some stuff on layaway since the beginning of Sept. With 6 grandkids I had no choice. I put stuff on layaway today for hubby and saw several men who were doing early shopping. I am sorry things are so hectic for you. Is there a reason why you haven't been doing check of bg's? I am concerned, especially if you think they are high and you aren't keeping track. Think about doing it at least once a day, please? Hang in there. nana |

Nana, Sorry I haven't responded sooner but once again it's that darn JOB! I have no life outside of it and I hate it with a passion. The stress is enough to kill a person. I know my bg is high I can feel it. I am going to talk to my dr at the end of the month. I 'm not sure what can be done outside of quiting my job, but I can't do that and survive either. Oh well sorry for the ranting on. Tams |

Well it's been a while since I have posted last. I am doing ok except for some weight I have gained. This job I have doesn't allow for much exercise. I have been tired a lot but I am working the graveyard shift, and when I get home I average about four hours of sleep a day. They good side of this job...the pay. I got my income tax check the other day and I splured and bought all new livingroom furniture. It will be here Wednesday...I can't wait!!!! I bought a sectional, I have always wanted one. We had one when I was a kid and I loved it. I also bought a new chair, It is one of the oversized chairs that two peole can sit in with an otoman/footstool (spelling). Anyway I am soory I don't get much time to come to the site but I stay so busy anymore. and when I 'm not I am beat so I don't feel much like sitting at a computer again as thats what I do for eight hours at work. Anyway I just wanted to check in with everyone and I hope you are all doing well. I will try and be back sooner. Tams |

Tammy,,, How exciting to get new furniture,, sorry I'm just now reading this,,, I've been awful about keeping on everyone's journals and doing my own. Going to try to do better from now on! You sure did work hard for that job and am glad at least the money part of it makes it slightly bearable. No wonder you can't stand to look at a computer if you are on it 8 hours a day,, lol! Hope you can check back in sometime soon~~~ Would love to hear how things are going! Don't forget in all this activity to take care of you,,,, test and all! Hugs and of course Keep smiling, Cuddles |
