Hello IKKer's;
Well I think we did a fairly good job on Susan's brickwall but this week we have a chance to do even more for her as the next brick wall is also hers. I know we'll have lots of stuff on this one because i starte working it ahead of time in anticpation of the possibility that Isabel is gonna knock me off-line for awhile.
Susan's post is entitled "Chicago Area TRINER's posted on 12/29/2002. She needs a lookup for IL TRINERs in the 1910/20 census. She is also looking for her granddad's siblings and parents--according to a cousin, he had a couple of sisters. This is what she knows about the TRINERs: Adolph TRINER b. 1866 Bohemia d. ??? m. 1889 Cook Co., Mary Moriva
  Mary Moriva b. 1867 IL d. Children: 1) Thomas TRINER b. 1893 lived in Michigan d. ???
  2) James TRINER (Susan's grandfather) b. 1895 d. ???
  3) Adolph TRINER b. ca 1899 d. ???
  4) George TRINER b. 1908 d. ???
  Adolph Sr.'s siblings: 1) James TRINER b: ??? d. ???
  2) Fred TRINER b.??? d.???
  3) Joseph TRINER b. ??? d. ???
  4) unknown female TRINER(s) b. ??? d. ???
**************************** 2) Next week we'll be breaking the year barrier (no more 2002 Brickwalls!) with Margaret's posting: "Ewing Wilson ORGAN" posted 1/4/2003. She is looking for an obit or death notice for Ewing ORGAN----anything at all. A gist of what is known follows: Ewing Wilson ORGAN b. 31 Mar 1824, Lebanon, Wilson Co., TN d. ca. 1850-1855, Wayne Co., IL m. Sophia IRBY, 3 May 1848 , Wilson Co., TN,
  Spouse: Sophia IRBY b: 1825, TN d. ???
  Children: 1) Simpson Augustus ORGAN b: 24 Mar 1850, Fairfield, Wayne Co. d. ???
  2) Joseph Hausley ORGAN b: 1 Oct 1853, Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL
  Parents: Simpson ORGAN b: Ca. 1772, VA d. ???
  Sina WILSON b: 2 Feb 1797, TN d. ???
Notes: After Ewing's death, Sophia & her sons returned to TN to live with her dad. Both boys ended up in TX. Salient quotes: "What I need is a death date, burial place, etc for Ewing Wilson Organ....nothing on him after the 1852 Land Records....I do have in my notes that he was a Lawyer, but have never been able to verify this."
  ***** Cheers, Wayne |

:::Doing Happy Dance::: Carolyn, Ressie or Bessie is Catherine and Joseph Morava's daughter and sister of Mary Morava Triner. I met Irene when my great uncle George died in the 1970's. She lives in Paramus N.J. if she is still living. Her married name is Corrent (Ed). Irene said that several of Mary and Adolph Triner's children are buried in the plot with her parents in Bohemian National. They have no tombstones that I know of. Uncle George's birth certificate said that he was the 8th child.
Other known children of Catherine and Joseph Morava were: Hattie b. ca 1889 d. Apr 16, 1970 m. Otto Freml ch: Otto F. Freml b. ca 1913 Lorraine Freml m. Warren C. Gohl
Joseph b. ca 1873 (nothing more known) Emile b. ca 1879 (nothing more known)

Carolyn, Your good. I never would have found an obit in Crystal Lake and never would have looked there since I found Adolph's here: Triner Adolph 1/22/1931 Optimist News http://www.lemontlibrary.org/reference/obitsearch/obitsearch.asp There farm was/is right on Rt. 83. I checked the Crystal Lake newspaper and found Mary's sister and brother in law: DOLEZAL, Bessie (Morava) 70 21 Jul 1954 29 Jul 1954 DOLEZAL, Frank W. 73 16 Apr 1954 22 Apr 1954 I found Bessie in the Chicago Tribune but not Franks. Seems funny since they died 3 months apart. I wish I had know that Hattie was still living in 1970. My grandfather never said anything about her. I would have gone hunting for her.
I'll have to try and get copies of these obits. :) Susan

Carolyn, I did a little more digging in the Crystal Lake paper and found Catherine Morava listed and Adolph Triner. I'll have to check each link and see who else I'll find. Hopefully there are obits and not just a list of who died. I figured there obits would be in the Cech newspaper, but then I would have to find someone to translate it for me. lol
  Susan
