Deer hears every rustle in the forest, keenly alert to any danger. It is gentle, sensitive and has innocent wide eyes that may glance at you from a distance. They are easily spooked as they have few defenses in the wild. Their home is the forest where trees and shrubs shelter them and where they can romp free and graze on shrubs, leaves and branches.
If deer is your medicine you are sensitive enough to know you need protection from time to time. And deer will throw a stare at you if you are misguided to do something you shouldn't do that will put you in danger. Deer will demand that you are gentle and kind to others and that you be sensitive to other's feelings. "Never force a friend to do things they don't want to", says Deer. Use a gentler approach and allow them to grow in the way they need to. And if you need to, tell them you're sorry.
Deer's sensitivity can be awkward in a world that demands strength and courage. Being sensitive doesn't mean you have to roll over and let people walk all over you. Be sensible, calm and know when it is your turn to speak up the opportunity will show itself. And say what you want to in a clear and compassionate way, especially if you are sorry for something. Deer will approve and send you a gaze, telling you deserve a little praise.
