Gecko

Many Gecko lizards live in the islands of Hawaii and the Polynesian chain. Almost every home on the islands has at least a few Geckos who travel up walls eating insects along the way. They really enjoy climbing the bark on the shady side of a tree where they blend in and rarely are noticed. They are considered nocturnal lizards but they often are seen during the day in the dim light of a cloudy day. As most islanders know and appreciate the gecko lizard has a loud clicking or clucking sound which announces its presence.
If gecko is your animal ally you may hear its clicking sound engaging you in a conversation from time to time. Gecko seems to know what you are thinking moment by moment. And it will "click" if your thoughts are good ideas. Gecko teaches you that your ideas deserve to be put into action and that you need a big "yes" sometimes from Gecko to motivate you. Everyone needs some encouragement from a special friend. So remember to encourage your little brother or sister too. Gecko will show you that your thoughts can be sensed by and also influence others. Thoughts are carried by waves of energy through fields that we are all a part of. So be careful what you think because you wouldn't wish to harm anyone with negativity. Even if you think they can't hear you. If Gecko is your totem you may not want to be noticed by others and your tendency will be to try to blend in. But give voice to your ideas, otherwise others will suffer without your contribution to things.
