Goat

Mountain goats prefer steep, rocky mountain areas in alpine forests.
They migrate between lowland winter areas and high elevation summer ranges in Alaska,
Idaho, Montana, and regions of Canada. Mountain goats have large, oval hooves with an
almost rubber-like sole that aids them in climbing steep rock. They have black glands
between their horns that are used to mark the territories they travel. Their white coat
protects them from the harsh winter chill.
If Mountain goat travels with you as your lead animal totem you are someone who enjoys the rugged outdoors. You may enjoy hiking, mountain climbing or just riding your bike onto a country road enjoying nature and all that it has to offer. You are the independent type and not likely to tolerate being stuck at home for very long daydreaming of better days. You probably won't do well with others hanging on you either.
Mountain goat leads you to your own path. You are encouraged to do the out of the ordinary. When others are trying out for team sports, you will maybe want to study archeology or environmental science. And just because your big brother or sister wants to be a doctor like your father, doesn't mean it is right for you. "Be head strong", says Goat and don't let anyone tell you who you are or what you should be when you grow up.
With Mountain Goat you will learn that to be sure of yourself means you need stable ground to stand on, a good sense of right and wrong. Rules and laws of society are there to protect you and others. Don't think that you will get away with breaking the law or doing something that harms someone else. You will get an awful lesson. Someone else will stand on the top of the mountain judging you.
