Moles bury themselves beneath the earth and live complex tunnel systems with
the members of their clan. They are the only known mammal that lives in a truly social
system with colonies of 20-300 members. They have a class system in which
the female queen is the only one allowed to breed. Others are soldiers who protect take
care of the colony. The rest are workers who dig up the earth to make tunnels and to
find food.
If mole is your ally you may be taken on a journey to the center of the earth to remind you that you are an earthling and that you need to get your head out of the clouds and put your feet on the ground. Are you day dreaming too much or flying away with your thoughts? Mole wants you to get grounded by doing things in nature. Mole teaches you about loving the earth and loving your body, as well . Plant a garden with your mom or dad and watch things grow. You will learn about how food gets to the table and what nourishes you rather than eating at a fast food restaurant.
"Never take your family and friends for granted". "They are all here for you", Mole may say. Mole wants you to be good to those who are good to you. Your friends and family are the most important part of your life. Spending quality time with them will give you a good start in appreciating your connections to people in your community in the future. Mole may teach you a lot about working as a team or as a group to improve your world. Cleaning up your neighborhood with a group of friends is a good start. You will get a lot done and everyone will reap the benefits of your group effort that makes the earth beautiful again.
