Reindeer

In North America we call these animals caribou, but Europeans, Asians and Santa call them reindeer. They're pretty much the same animal, except reindeer are smaller than caribou. Reindeer were domesticated in Northern Eurasia about 2000 years ago. They are herded today (much like horses) by lots of Arctic people. Reindeer have large hooves that spread out when they walk. They also work as paddles for swimming. Reindeer are excellent swimmers. They have no problem getting across wide rivers and even the frigid waters of the Arctic Ocean. Unlike deer, both the males and the females grow antlers.
With its crown at its head, Reindeer may remind you to honor yourself as someone who deserves the best. Be regal. You are a noble king or queen in the hearts of your parents. They see you as special and their eyes light up when they look at you. They want you to have the best things in life and to never struggle for anything. See yourself as someone who deserves good things.
It is your birthright to have God's love and to have health, happiness and the good things of life, no matter what circumstances you and your family are facing in the moment. "The herd stays together even in the winter when times a tough, knowing that spring will bring new grass and leaves to munch on", says reindeer. This assures you too that there will be a time when things are better for you and your family.
Santa arriving with his team of reindeer on Christmas is a special image in children's hearts. To know that you deserve the gifts under the tree is an important part of receiving. And it isn't important that you got everything on your wish list. The contents of the gift are not as important to you as the person who wrapped them and put them under the tree. Show your gratitude for everything you receive and acknowledge who loves you. You deserve love more than things.
