Everything has an aura. People, plants, buildings, rocks, the Earth and animals.
Healers who have the abiity to see aura can tune into a client just by looking at them. The same is true whether the client is a human being or an animal.
Animals have four bodies on the subtle plane, just as humans do. These four subtle bodies, the Ethric Double, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual, and the animal's Chakra system can indicate what the animal is feeling or thinking, and whether or not it is healthy.
Most people, unless they are adept at seeing aura, will only see the layer that is the closest to the physical body, the Etheric Double or Etheric Body. Animal or human, the first layer is very important in determining the overall health (body, mind and spirit) of the subject. You can train your eyes to see the remaining etheric bodies so that you will have deeper insight into the overall nature of the problem. (Click here for an exercise to help you see aura)
The various colors in the layers indicate the client's health on all levels. Pay particular attention to the Etheric Double/Etheric Body of your client. Any dark spots, spirals, or a broken aura suggests a health problem.
The colors you may see in an animal's aura will differ in meaning from those you see in a human aura, simply because animals are still limited in consciousness at the present time, whereas our consciousness is more highly developed. The translation of the auric colors can vary from healer to healer, as each sees color differently. Remember, you are looking at the animal's aura through your own. so observe your aura before you work with your client.
Here are some sugestions to help you read the colors in a pet's aura. These colors can be applied to any animal, not just dogs and cats, or other domesticated species.
Amethyst and violet colors: this animal is highly attuned to its owner and the Divine.
Aqua: the animal has healing abilities.
Beiges: indicate a change in the pet's environment. (I once had a pet come in for grooming that, instead of its usual sweet self, was rammy, hard to handle and actually tried to bite me. He told me that the family had a visitor staying with them that he didn't like and was upset and irritated by it. He just wanted to go home to chase the person away. Hence his behavior. He thought if he was difficult on the grooming table that I would send him home right away so he leave and protect his home!)
Browns: suggests the pet has stopped its evolutionaly growth and is addicted to certain material things (a certain food, play toy, or even a person)
Light Blue: this pet is peaceful, calm, and sensitive and easily tunes in to its owner.
Orange: if you see orange in a pet's aura, it could mean that those annyoying habits it is displaying are products of its own creativity.
Pink: sweet, loving, happy, well balanced.
Red: stubbornness and anger. This animal is spiteful.
Yellow: cunning. Watch out! This pet is up to something!
White: the pet has recognized its spiritual connection to the Divine.
Black or Grey: this indicates illness in the physical body.
Gold: spiritual love and connection. This pet is a healer.
Silver: compassion and understanding. This pet is also a healer.
Green: balance. However, when there is excessive green in an animal's aura, it indicates stubbornness and inflexibility. These pets are difficult to train.
