Lions are abundant in open plains of Africa where there is permanent water and plenty of grazing. They are the most powerful of the African predators. With a swipe of one of his paws, Lion can break a Wildbeest's neck. And he can carry twice his weight in his powerful jaws. Lions, like any other cat, can see at night as well as a human sees during the day. The male has a thick mane that darkens with age. It is a mark of their maturity and signals other males of their dominance. Lions are very social animals living in prides consisting of one or two males, up to seven females and 14 or 15 cubs of different ages.
If Lion is your animal ally it will insist that you take pride in your accomplishments and for what you are inside. Maybe you don't think you measure up to be at the top of your class this year, but Lion will lead you to excel at whatever interests you in the future. See yourself as the King and others will look up to you too. Lion wants you to be fair to yourself and to admire yourself for all that you do for others. Lion will teach you to look inside your heart and to roar a prideful roar when others challenge your worth. "Never let others put you down. Keep your head up high", says Lion. You will find out that you are worthy of respect once you have looked inside your heart and found the love inside for yourself. Be lion hearted and full of pride and you will be blessed in your life with greatness. You were born to be great.
