I didn't want to call it a review because honestly, I have not read it yet. Actually, I haven't even purchased it yet but I saw it at a fair and was really interested in buying it. I have heard lots of people make references about how great Animal Speak by Ted Andrews was so I though I would post this. Hopefully, one of you may have actually read the book and can give a more detailed review about it. |

I have this book, and I love it. I haven't read it cover to cover, for me it is more of a reference book. When I see a particular getting my attention, I look up what it means. Sometimes another person will tell me that I have an animal around me in spirit and I grab the book to see what that might mean. Some of the info is a bit long winded for me in the book, but I love that it tells me what the animal might be trying to tell me. |

This book is like a "dictionary" of animals... and a reference book about the whole animal connection to us. Last night Tessa told me she saw a black panther around me (and an Owl). Both of those make sense to me, knowing my love for the Owl and all felines. So I looked up the panther. This book has 5 pages of info on panthers, history - meaning - various thoughts on meanings - etc etc.... Here's a very brief summary... Panther... ancient and powerful totem... embodies aggressiveness and power... Black panther is a lunar connection... smaller but more fierce than lions and tigers... panthers are general loners / solitary.. drawn to others who are also solitary in nature....enchanting but quiet... very strong hearing, clairaudience .... increasing sense of touch...and much much moreeeee! |

Lol owl, too funny. I just wrote a post about having Mother Earth spirituality and not reading it yet. We both had the book but didn't read it until the other posted about it. How cool is that? |

I have this book also, and use it in the same manner Brat does. It has become an invaluable tool for me. When I first started to open up animals were the best way spirit found to communicate with me. I couldn't "hear" the messages, but I was sent physical animals, they just showed up when I was walking or driving, or even on TV, books and magazines. I'd look up the animal in Animal-Speak and there would be my message. As I began to grow more sensitive spirit would just whisper the name of the animal, or I would sense it around myself or another and it was exactly what was needed. Nope, I haven't read the book from cover to cover either, just led to the parts I needed. I like using Ted Andrews animal wise tarot also. Wistfuldreamer |
