I was dating this guy and he had an ex who was trying to get him back and he had a wife who had died.  He had two sons and they had big events coming up in their lives, one was going away somewhere and the other was graduating, not sure if high school or college, and he wanted me to be at those events with him.  He had come got me and had me stay at his house so I could be there for those events.  The ex was very upset about this situations. Well, he had a boys night for the one who was going somewhere, and I was at the house alone.  The next day, I was at the house alone, and knew he was not expected back for hours, so I thought to snoop, to see if there was anything I ought to know, and I went into the bedroom, opened one drawer, and there was some of his late wifes personal belongings.  Now I knew these were there, as he had shown them to me, and explained he was keeping them to give to his boys when they had their own homes.  I then felt bad, because here he was trusting me alone in his house, and what was I doing!?!?!  So I closed the drawer and went back into the living room.   Shortly after he opened the door and stood in t he doorway, and was talking to me. He looked terrible, and he told me he had taken a bullet and then raised his left hand and showed it to me, and all his fingers were gone, there were a couple short stubs, but thats all (not sure about the thumb) and of course I was horrified and scared for him, and started to go over to him and he started to come in the house, and then sort of fainted, fell, and I helped him to the floor, and I saw his right arm was missing completely.  His ex ran in the house and was yelling at me, that he left the hospital against dr orders because he wanted to tell me himself, and was ranting at me and trying to get close to him and he was trying  telling her to go away and trying to keep her from him.  Next thing we were talking to someone about prosthetic arms and the dr was saying that with his musculatur he should be able to learn to control the arm quickly. Oh, the guy was right handed.  The dr was less positive about the arm he had left, about replacing fingers, how well he would be able to do that, if it was possible to have a prosthetic hand, etc etc. 

And then my alarm went off and I woke up.  Very odd, any ideas?
