The Emerging Goddess and Rainbow Children by Doreen Virtue

The universe is composed of both feminine and masculine energies; however, we've been overly polarized on the masculine side since the Industrial Revolution. This has thrown everyone's power out of balance. It's refreshing that the Goddess feminine energy is now re-emerging. Neither energy is superior to the other �?they both complement each other perfectly.

Every person, regardless of gender �?has feminine and masculine energies. You have an inner feminine goddess and an inner masculine god. Your goddess helps you with intuition, nurturing, emotions, and in receiving the harvest of your manifestations. She also helps us with grace and compassion.

The angels say, "As the nurturing feminine energy returns to the planet, it awakens the energy which stimulates the reappearance of the Rainbow and Crystal Children. These newly born humans are bringing their properties of perfect energy balance to the planet as a supreme example of humanity's capabilities. The Rainbow Children, which are making their Great Return at this time, re-establish earth's flow on the river of love. They demonstrate that playfulness, laughter, and light-heartedness are more "productive" than striving and suffering. They truly are the way-showers, and the new feminine mothering energy is the light allowing their Great Return."

Who are the Rainbow Children? The angels say that they are just beginning to show up on this planet. The Rainbows who are here now are the "scouts" �?who initially show up before the larger influx of the population. There were scout Indigo's who were born well before the 1970's and scout Crystal's who arrived prior to the 1990's.

The angels say, "The Rainbow Children are perfectly balanced in their male and female energies. They are confident without aggressiveness; they are intuitive and psychic without effort; they are magical and can bend time, become invisible, and go without sleep and food. The Crystal Children's sensitivities make them vulnerable to allergies and rashes. The angels say that the Rainbow Children will have overcome this aspect, and will be able to live in the world, without being swayed by the world. In other words, the Rainbows will be able to walk in the eye of the hurricane and not be negatively affected by harsh energies, while still retaining their ultra-sensitivity.

"The larger population of Rainbow Children are waiting until the Crystal Children reach childbearing age. The Crystal Children will largely be the parents of the Rainbow Children. For now, they are being born to older scout Crystal Children and to Lightworker and Indigo parents who are balanced and at peace.

"Rainbow Children have no karma, so they have no need to choose chaotic childhoods for spiritual growth. They come to Earth as humans' appreciation of, and connection with, the Earth Mother Goddess, Gaia, increases. They come to Earth at the close of the patriarchal monopoly, since unbalanced male energy wouldn't support these new children."

Archangel Metatron, who oversees the new psychic and sensitive children, says, "The human energy field has been wound up tightly like a spring, disallowing for spiritual growth and movement. The stress of striving constantly for money has condensed the human light body into a compressed ball. The Rainbow Children are here to unleash the human aura and light body to its intended magnificence. They are unfurling your collective wings as we speak, doing so from that level which you refer to as, "heaven."

"Before they are allowed to repopulate this planet, some spring cleaning is in order. Your weapons of all varieties must be quelled, and your population must reawaken its lightbody's feeling nature. Allow yourself to feel emotions of all variety, shapes, and colors! Allow yourself to feel the full spectrum of emotions! As you do so, you unleash your magnificent power, and you heal any shame you may have about your shadow side. This, in turn, brightens and strengthens your auric field, allowing the shadow permission to move upward, where it no longer dims and dampens your colors."

In other words, we are preparing personally and collectively for what the angels call the "Great Return" of the Rainbow Children. Since this implies that the Rainbow Children have been here before, I asked the angels about their history. Here's what they said, "The Rainbow Children are the original inhabitants of your planet. They are the sparks of DNA that originally were the impulse of human life on Earth. They have retained their purity, awaiting the day when the shadow of human violence would be recognized without fear and thus lifted. When you admit that you have this violent underside to yourself, then you no longer need to hide and project its energy outwardly. You can instead have compassion upon this instinct, and allow evolution to take the instinct to the light, along with other instincts which are no longer needed. For violence comes from the belief that you must compete for your needs, which as you know, is not true.

"The Rainbow Children operate purely out of joy, and not out of need or impulse. The babies will be recognized, because their energy is one of giving to the parents, and not of neediness. And the parents will realize that they cannot out-give their Rainbow Children, for these children are a mirror of all actions and energy of love. Whatever loving thoughts, feelings, and actions that you send to them are magnified and returned a hundred-fold."

We can propel the return of the Rainbow Children by embracing our Goddess Selves (yes, that includes you men, too!). Some ways to do this include:

Media. Read about goddesses. The new best-selling book, The DaVinci Code, by Dan Brown �?which is a novel with historical references to goddesses as a beautiful backdrop �?is part of the new feminine energy awakening process. Or watch them. "The Mists of Avalon" starring Angelica Houston as Viviane and Julianna Margulies as Morgaine, based on the book by Marion Zimmer Bradley is available as a tape or a DVD for sale or rent.

Intuition. Notice your body's feelings and the impressions that come to mind. Use them when the telephone rings to discover who's calling, or when looking for a parking place.

Body movement. Get in touch with your body's poetry through dancing, doing yoga, or swaying to music. Try holding a long, flowing scarf in your hand as you dance!

Heal your thoughts about women. This begins with women loving themselves (including appreciating their own beauty!). It also means watching your thoughts about women in general, and with your mother in particular. Our vision of our mothers and about women affects how we work with feminine energy. When we heal our mother issues, we're more open to receiving good from the universe. Louise Hay and I have also observed that weight in the stomach area is connected with mother issues. Embrace nature. Literally. Sit on the grass, dirt, or sand. Hug trees. Sit outside during Full Moon evenings, and do manifestation work on New Moon evenings.

Some great ones to work with include Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion; Bridget, the firey protector feminine warrior goddess; Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom; and Lakshmi, who helps us with manifestation. Simply think their names, and you'll feel their loving and nurturing energy around you. Ask them for help in general or with specific requests. You'll soon fall in love with these amazing women.
