Dear BlowyMist -

 

As I did not know your birth time (nor birth place), I erected Solar Charts for both you and your Hubby.  These give us the positions of all the planets except the Moon.  We also lack the House Locations and the Rising Sign, but it is still amazing how much is revealed about an individual - even with this more limited information.  And I already know, from examining your chart, that you understand me.  You actually SEE the messages that the Divine Mother (or Nature, or Life) leaves lying around all the time.

 

You have the gift of seeing deeply into the language of life and of people.

 

 

This index, as measured by Halloran Software, is VERY HIGH, almost six to one!!!!  And if after I removed the Moon from its calculations your index remained almost five to one.  By way of comparison, a previous chart comparison I did had an index of 1:5 to 1 - and that couple seemed to be quite happy together.  

 

So .. There is a great deal of cross-stimulation in your charts, and I would speculate that He needs You more than You need Him.  So, as you expand your own horizons, the questions you are asking yourself become pretty obvious.  I can see (from his chart) that he might (repeat 'might') be somewhat irritating at times. 

 

If I am correct  in thinking he might see any changes in you as very threatening (to him), it is even more probable that you will do just as you please (or must) anyway.  So, as good friends you can sit him down, pat his knee and say: 'Look friend, you are really making me unhappy'.  Or something to that effect.  But, you also see that I cannot advise you.  Not only do you know your friend better than I ever could, you already know your choices.  What can I add?

 

Well, you two were probably brother and sister in a past life.  But that knowledge, even if you accept it friend, only supports your high compatibility index.  So, you know each other very well. 

 

 

Here, friend, please do NOT think you have to know anything about Astrology.  That is the error most people make when they approach LIFE,.  They think they have to find a book and (somehow) that will contain all the answers.  That is total bull.

 

The astrological signs and planets are symbols of CONNECTEDNESS.  So, I use them to connect my inner-knowledge to this or that.  You do the same thing in your life when you look at flowers and bees and connect them to how the earth runs.  You do the same thing when you look at people and see their hidden motivations; and again you can connect all this to how the earth runs.

 

Oh yes, I look at your Pluto conjunct your Mercury, and I see how deeply you can see into life, and then connect it all together.  So, when I say you see 'energies' I mean you see beneath the surface appearances.

 

The sign of Cancer is ruled by the Moon (a symbols of connectedness to Nature and to all creatures and things).  The third decanate is co-ruled by Jupiter, the Lord of Fortune and Unlimited Supply.  And I note (looking for symbols of connectedness) that Jupiter is the scooping planet in your chart. 

 

 

 

Chesed, the fourth Seferah represents Limitless Supply.  In the creative world of Briah (Water), this gives you connectedness to the nourishing and loving side of life.  And, more important, you can always find the Truth in Life.  That is your special gift - to look on Life as the source of 'all things needful'.

Your body is the chariot.  The two sphinx, which power it, are your desires (black and white).  The invisible reins are your mind, necessary to control and direct your desire nature.  And - as the Key shows, the chariot has traveled far from civilization.  It has crossed the river of the mind and its limitations.  And it is now free to roam the plane of the unknown (which freedom your Pluto conjunct Mercury -- in your chart -- also symbolizes).

Thank you so much for your loving feedback.   When I get back, we can discuss your chart a bit more.

 

Where to start?  (My Guardian Angel started laughing).  You have already started ... in fact you began this journey on the day of your birth.  That is the way the Path works.  And you, in particular, have the gifts to see how this is so.

 

You also have the gifts of love and nourishing ... so there is no time pressure on you to meet some goal by some stated date or time.  How lucky you are!

You know this, at your deepest levels. 

 

So, keep loving alll people and all things, and see the beauty -- and don't ever get caught up in negative thoughts.

 

It IS true, however, that efforts made which always push in the same direction, accelerate your inner-growth.  This is why people set up altars and pictures and flowers and etc.  IT IS TO REMIND THEM THEY ARE ON A PATH TO FULFILLING WHO THEY ARE.

 

It is easy to make the mistake of saying -- well, I think Krishna is better than Buddha (or whatever) .... and that is my main complaint against religions.  They tend to separate us. 

 

Can there be more than one Reality?

 

There are also people who believe there is only one Reality, and then actually work within the Catholic church, or a Yoga Ashram.  They may like the vibes.  Or, it may be their assignment for this lifetime.

 

So .. you can take all the time you need to find a Path that is most comfortable for you.  If you like the Tarot cards, that is one possible place to start.
