Dear Stormy -

 

Thanks for your request.  I will look at Linsey's chart in a few days.  Madison will have to wait two months, until the next round.

 

And I will need to know Linsey's place of birth.

 

You yourself can, of course, solve your problems with Linsey, and do this much better than I.  I can only make suggestions.

 

First, these are very formative years for her, and her brain is growing by leaps and bounds.  To help her (and help yourself) you will have to open yourself totally to her; this way, this open way, you will know exactly what she is feeling and what is upsetting her.  And she will know you really understand.

 

You also have to have a schedule, and (while adjusting it as necessary), stick to it.  This schedule, even if she fights it, IS the firm and recognizable world she will depend upon.  And, it is important at this stage of growth that she gets both stimulation AND all the sleep she needs.

 

And finally, just so you won't think I am just in a lecturing mode,  I would like to share a true story.

 

Years and years ago, when my own children were small, I sat down to rest by a puppet theater/  (My two girls had disappeared somewhere in the park).

 

I observed a little boy, about three, and at first he seemed abnormal to me, almost gross.  Then I realized that he was a deaf mute, and - while running about the theater, he was also watching the Punch and Judy show unfold.  And every once in awhile he would run back to his mother, and look up at her face.

 

She always knew exactly what he was wondering, and they had developed their own sign language - mostly gestures and facial expressions.  And, somehow, she was always able to explain to him exactly whatever he wanted to know about the play.

 

And I suddenly understood the hidden blessing in his condition.  To be in touch with her child she had to develop a level of openness  equivalent to that of a psychic or a trained psychologist. 

 

And - please know, Sormy, WE ARE ALL EQUALLY PSYCHIC!   And this is your opportunity to discover this for yourself!

 

Anyway, back then I started crying, I felt so overwhelmed by the depth of love and insight in this young mother.  Then, she noticed I was staring, and I had to leave.

 

Please believe me .... This is your real solution, and you can do this.  You can open to your little girl, and as you succeed, you will find that each day prepares her for her tomorrow.  It is very subtle, but it IS how her tomorrows get better.  (And yours too, before your patience gives out).

Dear Stormy -

 

The above is your daughter's chart which I just erected this evening.  And I now have to take back everything I said before!  I would venture to guess that she IS,  and always WILL BE, an incredible handful!  So, it is best for you to be prepared.

 

Your mother is probably right in saying that, at her age, she is just 'acting out' - because she is discovering her emotions, and that is how she identifies herself!  Children do not know too much at her age, but they DO know how they feel about this or that!  And she will always be testing her boundaries - now with you.

And, of course, she is starting to learn language skills, and she will soon start to identify with how she thinks about things.  And her new boundaries will enter into a much larger world.  But, having seen her chart now, I don't think you can ever hold her back from whatever she decides to do.

Her chart is a Bucket, which represents an intense concentration of her energy is less than half of the circle of her chart.  Further, the handle on her bucket is Pluto, the planet of transformation, so she will always be looking for ways to regenerate and reform the world, in accordance with her own ideas.    She will be endlessly courageous and endlessly resourceful.  She might also accomplish a great deal.

 

And she has personal Power to back this up - including a stellium of five planets in Taurus, a (fixed) sign.  In fact, Linsey has seven of her ten planets in Fixed signs, including her Sun and her Rising Sign.  So she can be as stubborn and determined as they come!

 

She is also a most unusual person, with three planets in Mutable signs, including her Moon.  She has none in Cardinal.  But, with her Mars in the third house of communication and Pluto in the tenth house of career, this will act as if they were cardinal.  She will have a really strong desire to SUCCEED., and when she grows up, she will probably work in the media, or use it very effectively to further her career or her wishes.  She can (so probably will) succeed at any career she enters. 

 

That is to say, she may succeed IF she can survive some challenges.  The bunching of planets in her chart result in many conjunctions, and these are aspects of POWER.  Unfortunately, five of the planets in that concentration are in square aspect with Uranus and/or Neptune.  These are simply too many and too complicated for me to analyze. 

 

Fortunately, her Moon is conjunct Mars and both are trine to Neptune, so linsey is psychic and in tune with the Cosmos!  This may even save her!  (lol)

I realize that this will all sound like astrological gobbledegook to you, but I wanted to get it all down so I could summarize it - somehow - for you.

 

 

 

Bob Dylan's chart comes to mind because of some striking similarities.  He had four planets in Taurus and two in Gemini, but his Sun was in Gemini and his Moon in Taurus.  This is a slightly different mix, but I can use his chart as a comparison because your daughter will share some of his characteristics - multi-talented, determined, and capable. 

 

I do not know Dylan personally, but I was married for years to a woman who was born on the same day as Dylan.  She was incredibly stubborn, but then could change her  mind (and direction) in an instant! 

 

Dylan was actually rather shy, (I noticed t his when I saw him perform live).  All of his planets are in the western hemisphere.  Crazy, no?  Your daughters' planets are in the eastern hemisphere   So she will be a much more 'in your face' sort of person.

 

And I don't think you will ever 'control' her. .... But you might learn to 'co-exist' with her.

 

I hope this helps you, because it is the best I can do.  Linsey is an incredible person but who can predict what will happen in the years to come?  Her path to success is likely to be a stormy one.
