There is plenty of activity in the heavens, relative to your chart.  Some Transiting Planets (meaning where they are now in the heavens) are making major aspects to your Natal Planets (meaning where they were when you were born).  As just one example, Uranus, which represents major changes and upheavals, has moved half-way through its orbit and is now in opposition to its position when you were born.  This happens to everyone at (roughly) age 42, and can represent a time of disruption and upheaval.  It is moving into orb now, and will probably last for at least two more years.  These 'disruptions', however, can also bring you great blessings.

 

Further, T. Uranus is transiting your eighth house  and this will continue for many more years.  This transit suggests you will be experiencing an increased interest in the occult, the spiritual and in the deeper meaning of life.  You will probably have some rather unusual experiences during this time. 

 

 

I picked the Queen of Swords to represent you, since your Sun is in Libra, an Air sign.  Since Venus (love) rules this sign, you know how to use your charm and your grace to establish harmony in all of your relationships.  And Libra is a cardinal sign, which means you take an active role in initiating and in harmonizing your relationships.  Further, Saturn is exalted in Libra, so you have a keen sense of justice and exhibit this in everything you do.  So, we use this as our base for your reading.

The Fool, Key 0, and a Major Arcana.  This card represents Pure Spirit or Essence.  the LIGHT from the One Thing, the One Self, God (or whatever name you prefer).  And it represents your ability to respond to Insights from Above.  So, if you were not 'spiritual' before, you will be by the time this transit is over!  And - just to share with you the wonderful sense of humor Life has, this Key also represents the planet Uranus! 

 

So - this transit, despite the inconvenience of its upheavals, represents new opportunities for you.  Specifically, a period of creative and imaginative ideas, which will stay with you after the transit.  One further point:  when the Fool Key comes up FIRST in a reading, every single key that follows must be re-evaluated in terms of this one key. 

 

This is the Queen of Pentacles, and could represent another woman, an earthy type, who is impeding your wishes.  That is for you to know, but I have to follow the instructions and relate this to the Fool Key. 

 

The Queen of Pentacles relates your reading to Taurus, and to Venus and the Divine Mother.  Your Venus is actually in Libra, so harmonious and loving relationships are so very important to you, as is marriage.  This is especially true since both your Sun and Venus are in the fourth house of Home.  But in crossing you, this tells us that you should be extending the goals of Life by connecting better to the Wisdom from above; and you should weave your own desires into coherent sequences that will produce loving results.  A real challenge, perhaps, with the Uranus transit.

 

In Chaldean astrology, the system which I use, the Queen of Pentacles is assigned to the last decanate of Aries, which is ruled by Jupiter.  And transiting Jupiter is crossing your second house, which represents new opportunities in business, and in big organizations, and hence new friends.  T. Jupiter has also been conjunct your natal Uranus, but is now separating.  You have been discovering two things about yourself: first, a greater tolerance for the viewpoints of others; secondly, you have been enjoying (?) a large number of psychic and clairvoyant experiences.  And some of this will stay with you. 

 

And during this year T. Jupiter is moving into conjunction with your natal Pluto.  This which will last for one to two years represents even bigger changes in you.  You are becoming much more spiritual, and are coming to rely on internal guidance from Above.  You may experience some 'spectacular] flashes.  And most of this will be permanent.

 

 

This is the best that can be achieved, and is the King of Cups.  Again, this key may represent a man you know, who is important to you.  I am bound by the requirement to relate this key to the Fool (Uranus).  Behind any relationship you may have is your need to express, in your life, Wisdom coming from the Divine Mother.  This reflection is a masculine characteristic, and it is for you to see (discover) how the changes in your life are having an 'equilibrating' effect.   (Terrible word ... what am I trying to say here)?

 

You are actually learning to balance the subtle nerve currents (as the Yogis describe these).  You are becoming more psychic .... And see deeper into life, and are discovering that Wisdom comes from a WILL higher than your own.  In short: you are changing!

 

The King of Cups, in Chaldean Astrology, is referred to the sign of Virgo.  Your Uranus (the Fool) is located in Virgo in your chart.  This Key (obviously) represents the Guidance you are and will be receiving from Above.

I already covered the Card Covering, the Card Crossing and the Card Above.  Here now are the remaining seven cards.

 

 

 

This key represents forces at work, which are subliminal or reside in your subconscious mind.  The subliminal forces refer to natural processes at work, coming from the Divine Mother.  These energies will also make subtle changes in the structure of your body.   That is the teaching.

 

In your natal chart, the Sun represents a center or focus of Living Energy of all of your planets.  In astrology the entire chart represents the complex we call the personality.  The facets, for example, are Venus (love and creativity), Mars (energy), Mercury (your mind), the Moon (your subconscious and the principle of connectedness), and etc.  A central message from astrology, then, is that the quality of our lives depends on how well we manage to integrate these facets so they work together harmoniously.  The change that is beginning now -- however - moves this process to a higher plane. 

 

The Tarot Key, the Sun (19), by being in this position, INTIMATES THAT LIFE HERSELF IS NOW TAKING A HAND.  SHE is LIFTING YOU TO BOTH A HIGHER LEVEL OF AWARENESS AND OF PARTICIPATION.  And since these changes are now being incorporated into your body, this BEGINS a slow process called 're-birth'.  This is the teachings.

 

 

 

This key is the Knight of Pentacles, and shows a Knight on horseback, studying a Medallion.  It represents an influence passing away; so, it also represents what you already know about life and about yourself.  For example, you are already aware of great changes in your life, and yet your basic decency and love and compassion have not wavered.  More important, you see you are more than your feelings, your thoughts or your desires. 

 

 

The Knight of Pentacles, then, tells us that you are becoming aware that this special and loving Awareness not only ACTS through humans as its center, it is also the One Awareness in each of us.  And all of the great spiritual systems seem to agree on this point.

 

 

 

This is key of the future, and it is the Eight of Swords.  It shows a young woman, blindfolded and bound, and imprisoned within a fence made of Swords.  In the Tarot, Swords represent the Mind, so it is the concepts which have been instilled in you -- by teachers, by books, by family, that have become 'rigid' (stuck in the ground), and now you are beginning the process of freeing yourself from this bondage.  Interestingly, the Mind, which imprisoned you, is also the tool, which will now free you. 

 

In the Tree of Life this key is tied to Hod, the eighth Seferah and the Sphere of Mercury in the World of Air (Mind), so it would seem that Life is really driving home a point here: Hod (the Mind) is called the 'Perfect Intelligence' -- which informs you that (like all of us) you are only the 'seed' of what you can become.  Right use of your mind makes you an instrument for the Eternal (for God or the Divine Mother). 

Your Mercury is in Libra, which means you were born with a grasp of the principles of harmony and balance.

Here are the final four cards of your reading; these expand the CARD AHEAD -- which was the Eight of Sword.  These last four cards should give you some further insights into the process of breaking free from old bonds. 

 

                                                                                  

 

1)  THE ACE OF WANDS.  This position represents the Environment of your future, and -- obviously (as an Ace) it represents success.  The suite of Wands represents Fire or Pure Energy; and as a phase of evolution it also represents the archetypal principles that govern the cyclic process of Creation.  In terms of your own understanding, however, you only need to concentrate on the keys number, which is ONE. 

 

ONE represents Intention and attention; it also represents a ruling center.  In the Cosmos this is God (or the One Thing); for example, the Hindus tells us that Vishnu meditates the world into existence.  In your own world, you operate as the center; and you are in process of discovering that all of the powers of the Universe are available to you.  

 

But for now it is enough that you become aware that LIFE is a process, its intention is Success, and you are expected to participate in this process.

 

2)  THE MAGICIAN KEY.  This position represents your response in the environment.  Your first discovery is that you are a True Magician.  If you focus on weeds (hurts and anger and resentment), then that is exactly what grows in your garden.  If you focus on beautiful flowers (harmony, love and compassion), then beauty and happiness grow in your garden. 

 

                                                                                     

 

The Magician Key shows the power coming from above.  Which is a reminder that the Power you use does NOT originate at the level of personality. 

 

3)  THE NINE OF WANDS.  Your hopes and fears.  This shows a man with a bandaged head, resting inside a fort composed of Nine Wands stuck in the ground.  This suggests that, like most of us, there are times when you feel (or have felt) that LIFE picks on you!

 

The number Nine refers to Yesod on the Tree of Life.  This is the seat of the Moon, and the moon symbolizes memory, the old memories that condition our responses.  The Qabalists call this Seferah 'the Pure Intelligence'.  The mirror belongs to the Divine Mother and is always pure; it is only some of our memories, which act like 'dust' and distort our view of the world.  So your new Life process will include 'purification'; this does not alter the mirror; it simply removes the surface dust.

 

Again, (says the Magician Key), what we focus on is what we wish to see grow in our garden.  In this key, by reflecting your fears back to you, the Tarot is reminding you of this important fact.

 

4)  THE EMPRESS, Key 3.  This is the card of the future and represents the Power of Creativity.  The mind has the ability to create (invent) new combinations from the memories of the past, and from its ability to understand the Higher Principles.  And since this key is also Venus, it represents the Divine Mother and her womb pouring out beneficence.

 

You can certainly read this key for yourself!  And rejoice!

Thank you so much for your interesting question.  I enjoyed a rather long and interesting meditation on this, and fortunately I made notes.  Your question allowed me to find closure on a problem of my own, and now I can share with you how Time Lines DO cross!

 

First, to your question: actually -- the cards are involved only in a peripheral manner, and if you had been present in my space, I suspect we would have dispensed with them totally.  Let me explain.

 

When I first read your request, I experienced a warm and loving person. I got no specific details, but (in general terms) I 'saw' someone with a great capacity for goodness, and for enjoying life.  You were like a Sun, radiating your inner joy for all to share.  And a couple of times, while doing your reading, my Guardian Angel popped in and filled me with such joy and love and radiance I felt overwhelmed.  She really LIKES you!  To her, also, you seem a wonderful person; so what is there not to love?

 

But others who I have done readings seem confused, or maybe lost, or frightened; some seem overwhelmed by their pain; they are convinced that that all that 'stuff' is Real!  Yet, even so, in some, I can still sense a great capacity for love and wholeness.  So, all I can do is to try and identify with that in them.  Remarkably, some DO respond, and find their way back to reality.  (And, to me, reality is a Divine Mother who loves and nourishes and watches over every one of Her children). 

 

But there are always a few who remain afraid, and won't come out; and there are others who want someone to be punished -- or want to hear that they will win the lottery next week.

 

There is little point in doing a reading for any of these.

 

So -- you ask, then, why do we use the 'cards'? (or the chart, or the palm)?
 
Because we readers (or at least this one) tries to find a 'connection' -- a line in the flow or flux of events -- and, finding it, this reader, trustingly, follows it.  That 'line' can be on a person's palm, or in the accident of a Tarot card being shuffled, or in the scratches on paper we call a natal chart.  In other words, the whole world can be found in the moment!

 

 

Years back, when I was still doing readings in person, the very best were those people who came for a Tarot or card reading, but with whom I established an instant rapport or connection.  I never bothered to put it words before, but if I had, it would go something like this:

 

 

And, occassionally, that moment was so high that neither of us remembered about the card reading, or palm reading.

 

On the wall of my meditation room I have pictures of Holy Men whom I admire -- Sai Baba, Ramakrishna, Jesus, Paul Foster Case.  And -- this morning, while meditating on your question, I suddenly remembered an occassion, over fifteen years ago, when the picture of Sai Baba suddenly spoke to me.  This was so unusual, he really got my attention.  He said I was actually a 'very decent little boy', and much more so than most of the family around me.

Back them he was talking about my mother, who was convinced (and told everyone) that I was a monster. 

 

 But, thanks to Sai Baba, I was able to review my own memories as a child.  Despite my hurt, my thoughts were always loving.  I REALLY CARED ABOUT OTHERS.  And, from that gift, from Sai Baba, I was able (eventually) to realize I had always loved my mother, and that alone gave me closure. 

 

And today, while Sai Baba did not speak to me, I suddenly remembered my more recent problem, with another family member, and I realized that I still resented what they had done, and wanted them exposed.  In other words: I wanted to win!  And, clearly, as long as I wanted to 'win' I could never enjoy closure.  And I will start working on that.

Wow!!  What a wonderful dream!  I have never seen my Guardian Angel, so it might be her.  She IS both a wonder and a treasure!

 

I do understand your feelings and your problem.  I can only share that I have recently been told, by my Guardian Angel, to send love and blessings -- EVERY DAY -- to people who have hurt me. 

 

I am a lot older than you, so I have been clearing up this old stuff only recently.  But -- her advice works.  It takes a few weeks or a few months.   But it works.
