Protect Yourself with Pure Light Energy

Sometimes, as Lightworkers, we are so busy taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves. We may take on other people's problems and end up feeling drained and exhausted, or anxious and jittery because we can't let go of the need to "fix" things and take care of everyone.

At times like this, it's good to go back to the basics. Take care of yourself by eating well, getting some exercise daily, and meditate regularly. Another good practice is to cleanse and protect your energy field on a daily basis.

I've posted the Sphere of Light meditation before, in the context of Automatic Writing, but this is a somewhat different routine that may work well for you. The sphere is basically the same, but the induction or trance method is different. You may want to record the following script and play it the first few times you build your protective sphere.

Begin by standing and taking a good stretch. Now sit or lie comfortably and allow your eyes to close. And now I'd like you to begin by taking four or five very deep breaths, inhaling deeply and slowly, and exhaling with your mouth open. And as you do this now, when you exhale, you can imagine some of the tension inside of you leaving your body and dissipating into the air. And as you inhale, you could use your imagination to experience as much relaxation as you want and need to now.

And maybe just one more deep breath now, exhaling forcefully, and then beginning to breathe more easily and normally, and with your mouth closed so that your throat doesn't get dry. That's right.

And what I'd like for you to do now, even as I'm talking to you, is to begin to pay attention to one part of your body at a time, noticing exactly how relaxed or how tense that part of the body is. Comparing how it feels when you inhale to how it feels as you exhale. And after five or six breaths, moving to another part of your body, knowing that the nice thing about this is that you don't need to tell yourself to feel any way at all. You certainly don't need to tell yourself to relax. All you need to do is to pay attention to exactly how each part feels as you inhale, and compare that to how it feels as you exhale. And as you do that, you will notice that in some of the parts of the body, the difference between how it feels when you inhale and how it feels when you exhale is quite noticeable, like around your chest and your stomach, and in other parts of your body, like around your face and your knees, the differences are quite subtle and difficult to notice. But it really doesn't matter how you feel now, it only matters that you pay attention, and soon the very act of paying attention in and of itself will help you relax all the parts of your body, the parts you pay attention to, and all the other parts, the parts that are relaxed, the parts that are still somewhat tense, and all the parts in between.

And I'd like you to continue this for just another moment or two, paying strict attention to just one part of the body, and then another.

And now, I'd like you to use your imagination to take yourself to a favorite place. Some place you've been to before, or would like to go to in the future. Some place you feel safe and secure and relaxed. And I'd like you to deepen the experience for yourself by using all of your senses right now in your imagination. By that I mean look around and see all the things you'd see at this spot. If you're outside and it's daylight, you could look up at the sun and see about what time of day it is by the sun's location. You could look up a the clouds and see if they're high clouds or low clouds or no clouds at all. If you're some place inside, you can look up at the ceiling, and notice any cracks or imperfections, the things that make this ceiling unique. You may even find that the cracks make up the outlines of faces or animals or other objects. Allow yourself to be aware of these things.

And whether you're inside or outside, you can look down to the right and to the left and see something maybe that you hadn't noticed before, and as you do this, you can allow yourself slowly to begin to feel some of the feelings of this place. You may feel the warmth of the sun on yours skin, perhaps feeling more warmth in one area of your body. Or you may feel a cool breeze, or be aware of other sensation. And after a while even allow yourself to hear some of the sounds of the place.

You may also find that you see only darkness or vague images, some light colors or thoughts crossing you mind. And I always tell people that the middle of no place is always right next door to every place, so it's always an okay place to be.

For now, you will stay within the chamber, where the mist begins to swirl. Sense the mist as it envelops you in a pale, glowing sphere of Light. The light is pure and white, and may shimmer with all the colors of the rainbow. It may feel warm, or tingling, or cool. Whatever you sense if fine, and is right for you.

Imagine this Light forms a sphere that surrounds and protects you on all sides, even deep into the earth below your feet. Know that this sphere of Light is not truly a shield. It acts as a very powerful filter that transforms all energy flowing through it, raising the energy to the highest vibration you are capable of handling. As energy passes through the filtering sphere, it is raised to a high level of vibration, so that you send and receive only positive energy, full of Light and Love.

All energy you send out is transformed: all the pain, all the fear, all the anger, so that your negative emotions do not go out into the world to affect others. You will find that, as the energy is transformed and its vibration is raised, some of this comes back to you, so that the energy is transformed within you as well. In time, you will feel calmer, more in control of your emotions and the energy you send out into the world.

In the same way, all energy that enters the sphere from the outside is transformed to pure, high-level Light. Your contacts with others, whether in body or spirit, will take on a more positive aspect. And those who intend harm will be unable to cause you harm. In the spirit realm, Angels and spirit guides may still protect and counsel you, but negative entities cannot enter this sphere of Light.

Now, in a moment, you will let the sphere slip away from you so that you can learn to raise it consciously at any time you feel the need. It is good practice to keep this sphere of Light around you at all times, renewing it every morning, perhaps as you shower.

Now, let the sphere slip away, melting into mist. Good. Take a moment now and imagine that the mist swirls and surrounds you. Let the Light build a filtering sphere of protection around you, as large as you would like. You may envision this sphere protecting you as you get ready to go out in the morning, and while you are driving, and while you sleep. Go ahead now, and build your sphere of protection. [Pause two to three minutes]

Good. You may strengthen this sphere any time you feel threatened, or any time negative energies or emotions seem to intrude.

And now it is time to return to your waking state. I am now going to count from 1 to 5 and as I am doing so you are becoming more and more wide awake, and when I reach the number five your eyes are open and you are feeling wide awake, refreshed and revitalized and feeling and remaining calm, relaxed and confident.

So ready, (COUNT SLOWLY) ONE - TWO More wide awake - THREE - refreshed and revitalized - FOUR - FIVE, Eyes open, wide awake feeling and remaining calm and relaxed and confident.
