Hi Earthly, what you have described is Mental Mediumship.

 

There are two types of Mental Mediumship, Preception and Control.  

 

Preception is where the Medium enters a altered state of consciousness and links to the spirit giving the information coming through. The information is often on a telepathic level and can also use our other senses. With Preception we are using abilities such as Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience and Smell.

 

Control is where spirit links with a medium, a spirit guide is given permission by the medium to use various degress of control, this can range from a light overshadowing of the mediums mind or consciousness to the degree of control to a level of the Medium having no memory or recollection of  what just took place. Control is often called trance, this can vary from conscious channeling to deep Trance.

 

Firstly I would not recommend you going up to complete strangers or even people you known and just start offering information, especially when you are unsure if they will be able to take it or not. This could be quite unsettling for many people and quiet damaging to a person only opening up. There is a huge responsiblity to both ourselves and the people we relay the information to, in what we say and how we pass that information on.   

 

Its is important to understand the ins and outs of Mediumship, how it works, how you work and were it is coming from so that your are working with the highest energies.  I do recommend you find a group or circle that you can be part of to learn correctly and only when you are ready to be out there offering information and links to people.

Misty thank you so much for your input i really appreciate it.I have been able to see and hear spirits since i was little and have been given visions in my dreams ones that have been confirmed time after time.One of my well gifts as some might call it is i know when someone close is going to pass away.I have done that since i was little and my grandmother tells me it runs in the family that my great aunt had this along with my great great grandmother who was full blooded ojibwa.I guess she was a healer too along with her father who was a chieftan something like that.Anyways i have never had it come across like that before and was wondering why it did.I usually get messages from spirits by hearing them or them showing me.I have been doing that for a long time.Besides having visions of things with the earth i have very strong connections there and have been shown things that have came to pass.And have never  let someone know something that did not want to know.the thing is at work i have been getting approached alot of friends and being asked of things.I just give what i get i tell them i am just the messenger and that nothing is written in stone but i have helped them and even saw some spirits crossover.I don't go up to complete strangers and say things.It was bad enough growing up and letting family know what i saw and them being freaked out.I've learned when to keep my mouth shut lol's.And i have the gift for gab haha.I know i need to work on my mediumship more and tune in.I  have this thing with energy  they said i am energy weaver long story on that one and used to work with it alot more than i do now.But lately got so much going on no time it seemed but now am making time again at work to meditate i have my little place outside in the darkwith nobody else around at night during my breaks.I am finally making time out for me.I will try to get into a reading night and get into development circles.Plus i am working on clearing my chakras that i know some need clearing.Like i said it just floored me how it came to me that i could feel this person like around and inside me like we were sharing my body but i did not mind cause i knew the message was urgent.Yet i was aware of what was being said.But know that can be a dangerouse thing to just letting them take over so i have alot to work on eh?I know,and like i said appreciate you getting back to me and letting me know things my friend.I need to learn these things also so i can show my daughter she has the gifts too along with my one son.So i still watch what i do at home too not to let anything of mine influence them in any way.So much to learn and it seems so little time.Like i say earth is our school always lessons to be learned.hugs and much love to you~earthly

earthly, in my opinion, anything worth doing , is worth doing right.

 

So get the right teachings and guidence, so that you understand and know what you are doing, how you work, your strengths and weeknesses and areas to improve on.

 

This is an area that not only takes years to learn and develop in, its an area we never stop learning in.

 

Pace yourself so you build that solid foundation, there is much security in having a sound knowing about things.

 

This is an area people will have many questions to ask, so if this is an area you would like to develop and work in, you will need to study and learn so you have the answers. better to do the study first :) We owe that to ourselves and to others we may conenct with, as we have a responsibility in what we share and pass on and in the manner we do this.

 

In regards to chakras, I feel if we take a holistic approach, this helps our energy flow. Focus on body mind spirit and soul, being healthy in the foods we eat and exercising so we have a healthy body. Watching our thoughts and being healthy both mentally and emotionally, facing any issues and healing on any level that remains unhealed. This will go along way towards our chakras being in balance and having good energy flow.
