In times of trouble it’s difficult to remember that each strife is a test of ability.
The ability to keep going, to be grateful for all things
The ability to keep our faith, and trust in the bigger picture
Whatever this bigger picture may mean to you
The ability of being happy anyway
In spite of our own crosses that we carry
The ability to remember that there is a light at the end of the tunnel
Even though at times we can’t see it
The ability of not questioning your sanity
The humanness of not being perfect in all things or in anything
The remembrance that we are all equal, in Spirit
When we come full circle it is in Spirit that we return
Where names and titles are not important, nor impressive
Neither are the clothes we wear or who we know or what we know
All of this is forgotten.
Father, I humbly come before you, and I ask your divine help in reminding me that all things are temporary
