Do I have a Spiritual Guide? How do I get in touch with my Spiritual Guides? My Spiritual Guide told me ---.

We cannot not have spiritual guidance. We are energy beings, and all that is, is Spirit in nature.

The principle of consensus reality is founded on energy relationships that are produced by each of us as individuals and combined into a consensus agreement. Even in our physical reality, this is true. All of the people we know right now are the result of our attention. It does not matter if I am a truck driver or a professor. The people I know and communicate with are the result of my attention. They ‘harmonize�?with me. Even those folks that don’t seem to harmonize with me bring balance into my life. The antagonist is there only because I we agree, at some level.

Like attracts like. We know this to be true for a very obvious reason. We have seen it happen time and time again. An individual will decide that their life needs a ‘new start�?and will quit the job, leave the family and start over. They think that things will be better in the new place and that they have a chance to change everything. Soon, though, they are confronted with the very same challenges in job, relationships and life that they thought were left behind. They took all these things with them to their ‘new�?location. They took their attitudes, there desires, their tendencies �?everything. They attract the same vibration of energy, the same people and the same situations that they thought they left behind.

Consensus reality is not limited to the first transpersonal layer, the layer that is our earth. The first, second and third transpersonal layers are intimately tied together through desires, beliefs and the focus of attention. (the layers of the transpersonal realm can be found at Skyhero.com) If I am a truck driver, I have truck driver spirits around me. If I am a professor, I have professor spirits around me. If I participate in an organized religion, I have religious spirits around me. Like attracts like. We are interacting. They are guiding me and I am guiding them. We vibrate in harmony and we exchange energy. We are learning and growing and participating in consensus reality together.

Even though spiritual guidance begins right here with entities in our own plane of existence, what is commonly considered ‘spiritual guidance�?is usually associated with the second or third transpersonal layer. Entities in these layers still carry with them a paradigm that is related to the first layer that is our physical earth. It is with these entities that we can ‘communicate�?in a manner that makes sense in our physical reality. In all three layers, the presence of a form or body, belief systems, a sense of good and bad - right and wrong and immersion in experience are in place in the individual paradigm. In these things, we are all in harmony �?we have common ground and share vibrations of energy.

Our vibrations of attention also extend out into the remaining layers of the transpersonal realm. But ‘communication�?or ‘guidance�?from these layers is less common because our paradigm does not relate to the expanded awareness and lack of ego that exists in these layers. We are unable to meet ‘individuals�?here, unable to associate with specific ‘beliefs�?and the impersonal nature of the communication leaves us with a sense of meaninglessness.

Yet, all these influences are always there. We are energy beings. Energy is non-local and interconnected. We cannot not be connected.

Imagine yourself as a ball of energy. Take a single thought and focus your attention on it. A ray of energy extends out from you into the transpersonal realm as a result of your attention. In all the layers of the transpersonal realm, entities sharing that focus of attention begin to vibrate in harmony. Experience and awareness is ‘shared�?throughout the entire spectrum of consensus reality.

As your thoughts and experiences change from moment to moment, you sparkle like a twinkling star with rays of thought energy extending out from you and penetrating everything and everywhere. And everywhere, entities in harmony are vibrating with you. You are connected.

For each of us, our individual focus of attention is the source of the attraction to spiritual guidance. If I change the focus of my attention, my vibrations change and the energy world around me changes. If I get fed up with my professor job, quit and decide to learn how to drive a truck, I begin to attract and am attracted to a different vibration, a different focus of attention. Will I keep some of my old friends? Sure, but my relationship with them may change a bit. As my attention changes, so do those whom I attract into my circle of energy relationships.

The same principle applies to spiritual guidance from the transpersonal realm. This is important to know, because if I am sitting and waiting for a ‘higher�?guidance to present itself while still focused on the ‘negative�?aspects of my life, I will have a long wait. Because of the negative focus of my attention, I still attract those entities that share my negative life. I must change my way of thinking and my focus of attention. I am the source of the attraction.

The world of spirit around us influences our course in life and the decisions we make. This influence is too subtle to be a conscious awareness, and this is the ‘natural�?way of spirit influence. Subtle, automatic and almost feeling like a hunch or a sudden thought, we are able to participate with the spiritual influences that are in harmony with our attention. This influence is very broad based and involves many entities and many possibilities. This is the way we should want it to be. It gives us access to more creative potential.

As an example, if I were going to write a paper I would begin my research by gathering a list of resources that were related to my topic. By reading and understanding differing points of view, I am able to draw my own conclusions and perhaps develop an entirely different line of thought �?a different perspective with different possibilities. If I were to limit my resources to opinions that were in full agreement with each other, it would be more difficult for me to develop a different perspective. Should I single out one author and replicate his or her thinking, I simply become a follower of another’s way of thinking.

The same is true of spiritual guidance. By keeping ourselves open and receptive to the varied influences of spirit that are in harmony with our life, we are able to develop a perspective that is unique to each of us as individuals. When we place ourselves under the influence of an established way of thinking, the potential for becoming a unique entity is limited to variations of that system. Should we identify with a specific entity, even an entity from the transpersonal realm, our potential for development as a unique, creative spirit is severely limited.

Our goal is to access the vast potential of The One through any source available. If we find an entity from the transpersonal realm that offers counsel in our physical life, then we have gained physical counsel. If we learn the name, the gender and the beliefs of that entity and accept them as my own, we become a follower. When we accept physical or material comfort, we become a dependant child and the ‘guide�?may even call us ‘Child.�?/B>
