As with every message board (except Reading Request) in this community, they are here for everyone to use, I would love to hear from other Reiki Healer's or Healers using different methods, to share on this board, there knowledge, theories, methods or anything that would help teach or guide others. There are so many forms of healing, but most have one purpose to help our selfs in the healing process and to help others encluding our planet and all that exist here :) Look forward to people sharing :) Blessings Misty |

Thank you Misty for
the shared thoughts...I am learning more and more each day about a healthy
exsisitance, and how to keep safe from things that we can or that attaches to
us...I have just recently witnessed some very dark forces at work...on another,
so i well know they are out there...need much to learn about sheilding and
blocking....as I'm sure many others do. I never knew how tought it could be to
be a lightworker and how much the dark side would want to take that away....but
as I carry on on my Journey I pray for the wisdom for myself and all
healers...to find the information of help to serve and protect. And I truly
believe as we heal others we heal ourselves as well. Thank you so much
for sharing these insights....Peace

Thankyou Redwaterwomen, I am like brat, i would love to
hear more being shared on different techniques, our greatest
teacher of all comes from the universe through
experience.
Once upon a time you lived your whole life as a
healer, following a sacred path, and to be a called a teacher
you had to bear wrinkles and hair was grey or white. I fear
in our rush to learn, that we forget to honour the sacredness of
many of the teachings and the responsiblity that comes with be
an healer.
We must not only learn how to tap into universal life force
energy, but learn all that is part of the universe. Remeber
there is always two sides of every aspect of all that is
around us, light - dark, sunshine - rain, happy - sad,
as there is energies around us. We must be prepared to learn
about all so that we are able to balance and center these
energies so that we have a understandingand
awareness in all suituations and how to deal with them. As
there are positive energies there also are negitive
energies, which as we open our self up to this higher vibration
we become like a light becon which attract these energies
and entities to us, and if we are not fully protected, can
attach themselves to. Like attracts Like, so if we want to
follow the path of being a healer, we must first heal ourselfs
and live life in accordance of what we are giving back. We
must nuture and feed the mind/body/heart/soul so that are body
is a healthy and a pure instrument to be used to channel healing
energy to others.
For eg: if we try to play a muscial intrument that hasnt be
cared for and is full of dust or gunk, it will not play with the
same clarity as would a instrument that has being
properly cared for regulary, it would not reach the heights
that it could. We must if we want to become healers, cleanse our
body through the foods and drinks that we consume and lead a
healthy lifestyle, feed our minds with healthy thoughts, our
heart with pure unconditional love and our souls to be
whole and at peace so that we can be a healthy and pure
instrument to God/Great Spirit/Creator and we can channel
life force energy through us purely to another.
Just some thoughts

Well, I too have a healing method, but I'm not sure I could describe it.. I've been called an empath. What I do is absorb energy (usually from a stove burner on high), listen to someone's problem, send the energy to clear thoughts from the mind and leave emptyehadedness, then I say philosophical and metaphorical things, as well as possible solutions to whatever problem is present. It hasn't failed yet, and it apparently leaves a wierd tingling sensation. I'm pretty good at tapping into the minds of others. And I never do wrong! muahahaha! Kevie |

Misty, At this time, i can't share with you, althiufgh I new I had a path to follow, I became aware of this just recently . i have been reding your board, and I have gain alot of knowlwdge, i do beleive this is the right path for me. Thank you for this board it is a God Sent for me, and I amsure that others feel the same way. Blessings, Windy |

I am an ER nurse and have been in nursing for 18 years. My gf is psychic and early in our relationship picked up that I was a healer, she bought me my first crystal which became very hot to the touch upon holding. I started to use it at work with my patients and found after a while all I had to do was concentrate on it too make it warm up. My gf would do some healing touch and energy.block releasing work on my spine. During these times I found that when I got into the breathing and the rhythm I could feel the energy moving through me, there were times when I could almost harness energy within my hands to where I couldn't close them completely. When I was attuned during my Level 1 Reiki training I felt an opening up within myself and now use Reike at work. I work in an ER and sometimes we sick little babies that require painful workups and I have found that I can use Reiki to calm the child to sleep through the procedures. My gf also took the class with and as well a few co-workers. I had undoubtedly the hottest hands of the group even noted by our Master. My gf is trying to get her business up and here where we live and has asked my to assist her with Reiki sessions. I have experienced out of body sensations when doing some of my Reiki. When I am doing the Reiki Healing I feel so energized as the Universal Energy courses through my hands and arms, at first some of the sensations were almost scary but have gotten over that. Am wanting to go for Level 2 but work has been incredibly busy and just don't have the time, but it will happen soon I hope. I feel like an over-charged enregizer bunny wanting to share the power. Hi Misty. I'm a Reikimaster since 2 and a halve year. Since last January I have been initiated as a Magniefied Healer and since this monthe I started my secind course "Therapeutical Working with the Ankh". This is an old healing method from the Atlantis times and Old Egypt times. I do not actually work according the books but I like to let my intuition prevail what I'm doing. One moment it is enough by scanning the body with my hands or with my Inner eye (I'm not that experienced in doing the scanning with my Inner eye, so I usually use my hands when scanning). When feeling a blockade (too cold or too warm/hot) I have my hands rest on that spot untill I can go on again. As an extra I like to massage the head. It's just relaxing and for the one who has a bad headache it helps get rid of it. This massage is again a intuitive healingmethod I got from the footreflexology (the metamorphoses part) and a part I learned from the course with the Ankh (part1). I just put both partly together and made a headmassage that's "mine". Always with the loving help from the Cosmos and my Cosmic Companions. Since February I'm following a trainingg to become a Guasha Therapist in Amsterdam. Who wants to know more about it should email me, for when I'm right I'm not allowed to give the url here. The information is in English too. It helps for RSI, burn-out, whiplash... Guasha means scraping with a Jadestone object with which you allow blockades to come up - it gives "beautiful" red to purple spots on your back or other parts of the body you treat. That means that the blockade is coming out. The spots leave within 2 to 3 days. If not, the blockade is heavy and should get another treatment. You treat every two weeks. The darker the spot is, the heavier the blockade is. This training takes three weekends. The first weekend in April will be the last weekend en then I will get my certificate. Hi Misty, I received certification as a Reiki Master Practitioner on Jan 30 of this year. Am also learning Healing Touch Spirituality. www.HTSpiritualMinistry.com. Am talking level 5 this week. My journey in things began a year ago in February. Words that came to me were Healer of Hearts and more, at that time. The words still ring within my heart. It all began with an angel reading and than a workshop. Wow has this been a year! Blessings Melissa

| Hi! Ever since I was sm--I could visualize color very strongly. Now that I've learned to meditate and use visualization--I realized that my gift was to use colors of light for healing. In one mediation, I heard repeatedly, you are a Healer of Light. So I tried using visualization of strong colors of light--whichever one I felt guided to use. More often then not, the colors would change in my mind's eye--I fully trusted The Universe at work so I allowed it to flow without interruption. Hi Misty I have been healing for 4 years, I am not a hands on healer.I heal through the aura. I ground myself and touch in with the person sitting on my healing chair.I ask spirit I help me use the gift of healing to send healing to this person. I send healing to the person by putting my hands between 2 and 4 inches from the persons body starting at the head and working form there. Most of the time when my hands pass over a problem area, they start to tingle, I pause over this area for as long as it takes until spirit tells me to move on. When I first started healing I seriously thought about reiki, but was told that I didn't need it. All healings come form spirit, Some feel more at ease using rieki, some with colors and light others with crystals my path is healing through the aura It works for me as it allows me to use the gift of healing to help those in need of help. I, too, use Reiki healing. I am currently a Reiki 2 (officially, anyway), and will receive level 3 shortly. Apparently I was born with Reiki; I was using it for quite some time, although not quite "correctly", without realizing what I was doing. I've always had 'hot hands', and at times my entire body heats up. Once when my son was small, he was ill and hospitalized for a high fever. He wanted me to lie with him in his bed, but whenever I did I heated right up and the nurses would make me get up because they could feel the heat and were afraid I would raise his temperature. I read about Reiki in a book by Diane Stein, then asked about it at my local spiritual bookstore. Turned out that a class was forming, and that one of my friends from the store was the teacher. I was the last person in the class to receive the first attunement; my teacher told me his guides said to save me for last because I would be the 'easiest'.... and he wondered what they meant by this. As it happened, he realized I was already attuned, and the attunement served to strengthen my ability. I'm working now to develop distant healing ability, and hope to be able to help people in this way. Brightest of blessings to all! |

Hello!
I have a couple of questions for you, that is if you don't mind.
1.) I used to raise cockatiels, and as I would hold the baby bird or adult bird that I would rescue from an unwanted/abused situation, I could feel in my hands that the bird was to live or not. What did I feel if the bird was to pass, cold.
2.) Now, not to laugh here, but, if my feet are hot, the rest of me is hot, if they're cold, I'm cold. My feet are that sensitive. I have been told that my feet are intuned to Mother Earth.
3.) My boyfriend had an umbillical hernia and I could "feel" where it was. Somewhat of the same as with the baby birds, except no death involved.
Would I be on the right track of Reiki???
I know I've got to sound dumb here, sorry, but I feel this is how to learn, by asking.

Hello,I have been reading all the messages and find that there very interesting, I to am learning to heal, but its by touch healing, I feel the heat, the pain and sometimes the sickness of a cold or other clues of what might be wrong or the sickness in the person. But, I find when I do this, I feel the pain of the person I am working on, and most times it goes away in a few days, I still am trying to master the art of healing, I have never prayed about this before, until recently after reading some other information on the Reiki Healing. I believe I was guided to this site to learn and help others. can I ask if someone has any suggestion for me. Thanks OneAngel-Light |
