rainspirit, I am sorry to hear about your freind. I hope he will be better soon.
To send healing there are two things which help, to know he has given permission and is open to recieve healing, because a healer can send or channel healing but that person needs to be willing to accept it otherwise it will only go out into the universe.
Secondly what is the friends name? To send healing to a person a Healer needs to know whom they are sending healing to.
In times of tragacy one can send out group healing to an area or group of people and those open and willing to recieve will benifet to some degree from the healing energies sent.
