Nutrition and Foods According to Your Blood Type

A new concept in Nutrition

One of the best ways to stay healthy is to build a strong immune system.  We can help you achieve this if we know your blood type.

According to the book "Eat Right For4 Your Type" by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, your blood type tells you what foods you should eat.

It appears to us, the foods we eat today do not contain sufficient levels of minerals and trace minerals. They have been leached from the soils by chemicals and fertilizers used in commercial farming.

This information will help us to formulate a suggested program of vitamins, minerals and herbs to help improve your health.

The following is just a sample of the foods you should eat and the foods you should avoid according to your blood type.

TYPE 0 BLOOD is called the Hunter.

Meat Eater ?Hardy Digestive Tract ?Overactive Immune System ?Responds best to stress with intense physical activity. They thrive on a diet of meat protein, high fat, low sugars and starches. Wheat and corn slow down the metabolism resulting in weight gain.

Beans and cabbage, brussels sprouts and cauliflower interfere with the thyroid activity causing a decrease in thyroid hormones. Foods containing iodine such as kelp, seafood, along with liver and red meat keep this machine lean, trimmed and humming.

Power foods for Type 0 people are:

Beef, cod, halibut, trout, salmon, sardines, olive oil, linseed oil, walnuts, black-eyed peas, Essene and Ezekiel bread, broccoli, garlic, leeks, onions, parsley, pumpkins, turnips, sweet potatoes and figs.

Licorice herbs are especially healing for irritated stomach linings and ulcers caused by the natural high acid content of Type O people.

Toxic Foods for Type O People to Avoid:

Pork, catfish, herring, most dairy products, corn and peanut oils, peanuts and cashews, kidney beans and lentils, corn and wheat related products, cabbages, red and white potatoes, olives, coconuts, oranges, rhubarb, apple juices and apple cider, all vinegars and pickles.

TYPE A BLOOD is called the Cultivator.

First Vegetarian ?Sensitive Digestive Tract ?Tolerant Immune System - responds best to stress with calming action. They thrive on a diet of vegetable protein, no dairy or red meat, along with an orderly and cooperative environment.

Red meat and dairy are poorly digested due to low stomach acid content and are stored on the body as fat. Kidney and lima beans slow down the metabolic rate. Foods containing vegetable oils, soybeans, pineapples and alfalfa will help to keep the weight under control and the intestinal tract mobile.

Power Foods for Type A People are:

Cod, trout, salmon, sardines, snail, whitefish, soy milk, soy cheeses, olive oil, linseed oil, peanuts and peanut butter, pumpkin seeds, beans, peas, buckwheat, rice cakes, soy flour, sprouted wheat, oat or rye or rice flour, carrots and broccoli.

Toxic Foods for Type A People to Avoid: Red meats, most dairy products, catfish, caviar, halibut, crab, lobster, shrimp, oysters, hard cheeses, corn and peanut oil, brazil nuts, cashews, kidney and lima beans, wheat grains, wheat flour and pasta, cabbages, olives, all peppers, red and white potatoes.

TYPE B BLOOD is called the Nomad

Balanced - strong immune system - Most flexible dietary choices - Responds best to stress with creativity. They thrive on a balance of physical and mental activity to stay lean and sharp.

Corn, lentils, peanuts and sesame seeds hamper metabolic efficiency and may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Buckwheat and wheat slow the digestive processes and metabolism which may result in weight gain. Foods containing green vegetables, meat, eggs, dairy products and liver along with licorice will help to keep the weight under control and the mind sharp.

Power Foods for Type B People are:

Lamb, mutton, rabbit, venison, cod, haddock, halibut perch, Salmon, sardines, Sole, caviar, goat milk, goat cheeses, mozzarella and ricotta cheese, yogurt, milk, olive oil, kidney and lima beans, millet, oats, rice spelt, rice cakes, Wasa bread, oat or rice flour, beets, cabbage, carrots, broccoli and parsnips.

Toxic Foods for Type B People to Avoid:

Special emphasis on chicken and chicken products, tomatoes and tomato products. Cornish hens, goose, duck, pork, crab, lobster, shrimp, oysters, hard cheeses, ice cream, corn oil, canola and peanut oil, cashews, peanuts and peanut products, poppy and pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, lentils, barley or corn or wheat.

TYPE AB BLOOD is called the Enigma

Modern age merging of Type A and B blood types - Sensitive digestive tract - Overly tolerant immune system. Responds best to stress with spirituality and creative energy. They thrive on a diet of vegetable protein and limited dairy or red mean, and have a charismatic and mysterious nature to them.

Red meat is poorly digested due to low stomach acid content and is stored on the body as fat. Kidney and lima beans, corn and wheat slow down the metabolic rate. Tofu, some dairy products, green vegetables and kelp, along with pineapples will help to keep the weight under control and the intestinal tract mobile.

Power Foods for Type AB People are:

Lamb, mutton, rabbit, turkey, cod, perch, trout, salmon, sardines, snails, goat milk and cheeses, mozzarella and ricotta cheese, yogurt and sour cream, olive oil, peanuts and peanut butter, walnuts, navy and red beans, millet, oats, rice spelt, soy flour, rice or rye bread.
