If you had a free pass, in your hot little hand right now, to experience a time machine, would you go into the future, or the past? How far into the future or the past? why would you pick this time?

lol  I'd pass.   If it was a mandatory thing... I might go back to just this side of the turn of the century.

Well, I sure wouldn't want to go forward - I'm too old for that scenario - lol

Past - back to the time I was 23 maybe - 1977 - lol - my best year!  This is a tough one!

Interesting that no one would want to go into the future! I wouldnt either, but maybe I would, just to see.

That demonstrates the general level of confidence, aye?    We're about the first of the generations to have to live underneath this aura... .and it's in our older years:  at least we lived, but to survive now will be harder on us than younger p'pl... still, I wouldn't trade places with them. Knowledge may equal our playing fields... I hope we can work together... in trust.

Well the pull to go back is awful great.    Tap out the bank and credit card to their limits - convert the cash to that of the era - bet it all on something big I already knew the outcome of and buy stocks and real-estate with the proceeds.     By the time I got back I'd be a gazillionnaire!

Going to the future was my first bet though - just to see if there is one!  I'd go if I could sort of hover around in it - not necessarily participating - as I wouldn't have either currency or clothes to fit the occasion.

yea, I think id want to go back and be w my daughter again. I asked carole this question, and she wanted to know things like, would I have and know the things I do now? and, would I be this age, or would I be younger again? I dont know, I dont make the rules, I told her, I just ask the questions! lol

I have a hard enough time dealing with the past, why would I want to go back?  Definitely the future.

I would like to go about 200 years into the future to see what happens to this world. Either we will finally get it right or we will self destruct. I want to know and that would be the only way to do it.
