Hi Tinka, I believe that Sassy meant amidst which is defined:

1 : in or into the middle of : surrounded by : AMONG
Hope that proves helpful, I couldn't find a definition for that

other spelling either. So... Sassy! lol

Dale's right! I goofed on spelling it for the list - SORRY!  But I spelled it correctly on mine.   Can you tell I was doing this - very very early in the morning? LOL

You're doing a fantastic job on these word challenges! So is everyone else.  The poems are outstanding and what I like is the fact that

most of us wouldn't write on the topics we do for these challenge normally, because the words aren't something we might always use, so that's why I pick some of them, to stretch the imagination, and believe me, all of you are fulfilling this beautifully!

 

I promise to TRY and not make a spelling goof like that again Tinka, I have a habit of posting sometimes when I'm very tired and don't always catch my goofs! 

 

I'll have to see what words I can come up with for next weeks, starting on Wed! *S* 

 

You do know everyone, you can if you wish, do more than one poem per word list, I know Tinka has, and I have for different ones, but all of you feel free, to write more than one if you like.

Lonely Nights

These lonely nights are here again
the shadows of my memories
slip into my head

The behemouth of our parting
was loudly proclaiming victory

Once the night was jade
A jewel of misty beginnings
The night had become so lonely

Once we sat under a fiery sky
anticipating one anothers love
She was a chimera flying low

She was a she-devil of delight
only here to spawn

In the lonely night she'd come
our kisses were a transformation
amidst the starry light
The end was near
Our love making ended

The lonely nights were shadows
