Motivation - Mental Manure or Food of the Gods?

Good evening.  Following is a text on the SLC Weekly Topic: Motivation.  Tonight's excursion will be addressing how the utterance of  "I can't" affects our ability to do and to succeed.

I think it's just been stated succinctly; thinking and saying "I can't" - begins the physical and mental roadblocks that affect your specific ability to do and succeed.  But I'll attempt to be more verbose for all the chomping children who don't like simple truths in 25 words or less.

The techniques we use to bring about personal Change in this Wurld are always reflected in our daily activities.  To the extent we believe in our Higher Self, and our Metaphysical strength, is the very same extent we determine how important motivation is as a tool for each of us.   My personal tool for motivation is called "Etiquette."  It is the agreement with myself to fashion the rules I follow and the goals I define as performance in this Wurld.  It is the skeleton that I hang my "Protocol" on.  It is the inhibitor for all the activities that have no value - and when I speak of "value" - I refer to those things that either hinder or augment my metaphysical goals.

But these goals can be physical as well - personal power should be available for mundane physical "change" if one is truly in synch with their Higher Self.  It is a common sign that those folks truly Tapping (drawing from their spiritual essence) - have personal power at their disposal at some level determined by them.

No one can effect spiritually-based "change" in their everyday lives without a vehicle for motivation.  Simply saying to oneself, "I will be motivated today" - will have little or no impact on one's established (materially based) personal habits and behavior.  If a person wants to effect "change" - he/she must be completely concentrated on the event of "change" - and having a vehicle for motivation then becomes vital.   Negative feedback as a motivator will be effective only after the cumulative effects of previous negative behavior have caused such a commotion in the personal and professional life...that lifestyle changes would have occurred by outside forces despite the material wants or desires of the person.  Examples are the effects of drug/chemical abuse, spousal abuse, chronic debilitating psychological problems, etc.  However --- using motivation as a tool is more effective when in the "positive" vein, as is with most tools in metaphysics.

If you want something to occur --- most occult dogma will direct you to manifest this occurrence mentally, emotionally and physically.  There's a decent reason for this.  This particular realm we live in ---- the Wurld --- operates on thought-into-action.  The realm is indirectly affected by focused thought, in that we can Draw on our spiritual essence for psychic energy - but the connector "switch" as it were, is our mind's eye ---- you can refer to this as the imagination for this discussion.

To effect motivation as a tool --- you must imagine yourself (in every way) - already enjoying the profits/efforts of the idea/image that you are manifesting. Your every-day actions should begin to reflect this focus.  Nothing negative should impede this preparation.....as we've covered before, if you can effect "change" by positive thought, then the converse would be valid - that you can Impede "change" by Negative thought.

So we don't want anything negative...thoughts, words, certainly not deeds, to impede our progress in what we desire to have happen.   If you begin your motivational exercise by the limiting phrase, "I can't" - you are building a roadblock of your own choosing...and it is an unnecessary roadblock at that.  Other people's negativity will be a factor you need to deal with; you certainly will assume that eliminating your own negativity should be a first step to any excursion into using Motivation as a vehicle for "change".

yeowza ...motivate your mind to say, "time to wake up"
