No good? No evil?

This topic is always good for an intense discussion, and a fine bowel movement - not necessarily in that order J Fact remains --- folks are Really Worried about the validity of their "goodness." I've met few folks who worried about the validity of their "badness" - maybe because being bad is so fun J - at least during the experience, and from a few personal perspectives. But just as there is no Joy in Mudville the day Mighty Casey struck out, there is usually little joy the day we find ourselves on the short end of the stick - whether from our lack of Personal Power, or in result of our own machinations. There is a Singular Paradox at work, and at Play , in this Wurld; we all signed on to accept it when we were born, and it takes Illumination to escape it - and even this escape may be temporary, during our time here in the Wurld.

I have been reading and hearing lots bout good and evil. In particular what bugs me is the view that they don't exist, it's all perspective. I can see this point. Like the guy who hosts Americas Most Wanted. His son was murdered and that lead him on a crusade that has brought thousands of criminals to justice. Does that mean that the act of murder was a good thing? Does everything that happens after the act was committed ultimately define whether the act was good or evil? I don't think it does. I have heard lots about intent. Perhaps the murderer somehow intuited what would happen after the murder and therefore his intent was to do good. But if the murderers intent was simply to affect pain onto another, do the after affects still mean it was a good deed? Perhaps the boys soul/spirit (not sure on the difference between the two) intended to come to earth to be murdered to inspire others to prevent these crimes. So maybe from our perspectives as humans good and evil are not easily defined, and it is ones perspective that distinguishes between the two. I believe however that our spirit, our higher self, knows what is right and wrong. It has access to the universal wisdom, or god consciousness, whatever you want to call it. As I child I didn't need to be taught what was right and wrong. I knew when I harmed someone, and it didn't feel good. I knew when I helped someone, and it felt great. I think no matter your reasons, intent, perspective, beliefs when you harm someone, you are still ignoring your higher self. What I am trying to say is I believe good and evil can be defined. I don't like the idea that nothing matters, it's all perspective. What are your views? Am I missing something?

Hi Face. Whoever told you that good and evil Don't exist - may have referred to the ethical value of morality being a single perspective among many; but the aspects definitely Do exist. Whoever told you that "nothing matters" - may have meant this as a pointer for the path thru the maze of perspective that you - and we all - have to traverse.

Or you may simply have misunderstood the context of the discussion.

You would do well to remember this, though:

There is a singular paradox in effect on this world --- we all share in it, we all feed into it, we all thrust against it or bend with it, in the various moral conditions we find ourselves in. To state the paradox seems oxymoronic, and we can all laugh at the attempt. But anyone who has found the crack in the Curtain, kicked Toto in the butt, gone to the other side and came back to share the visions will tell you mostly the same thing, as I'm about to, now.

Nothing matters, because EVERYTHING matters. Everything you do, say, think - matters. It matters - to you. It matters to you - because Nothing you do - really matters - to anyone else. But it matters.

You're gonna make a choice for a path, and you're gonna live it. And you will reap what you have learned in this Wurld -- sooner, later, despite yourself, despite everyone else, despite Me. You are free to make as many mistakes as you desire --- because they all belong to You. Should you decide that the Light path is the correct way to enlightenment - cool. Should you decide that you need a Walk on the Dark side for awhile - cool. It doesn't Matter. Hence the paradox.

Are there reasons for preferring "good" actions over "evil" actions? Certainly, and any practitioner of the Light Path will define them. Are there advantages in this Wurld for utilizing the "evil" actions over the "good"? Certainly, and most practitioners of that Path can define them for you.

Stating this Paradox always brings a laugh from me - because most folks won't get the gist of it. The words will stop them from the realization, and they will continue in their lives to the best of their ability, or to the least of it. To understand the words - you have to get PAST them - into the realization. It will come - eventually - for you all. Whether it comes next week - or in astral after your death - or in a hundred reincarnations --- is unimportant, except from your current perspective.

Of course - we who are watching you from the scenery always cheer you on - when we're paying attention - and believe me, there are many folks paying attention to you.

But if you don't "get it" this Time around, that's ok. Nobody's keeping score - except YOU.

And that's why it matters.

Hoping that this confused the shit out of you; at least you had a decent bowel movement, may you find me ---

respectfully yours,

noone in particular, on this fine valentine day yeowza, and blessing be
