When I was at my lowest point and just wanted to die I found a friend in an unlikely place. It was in me.
A woman told me to go home and close my doors and shades and make everyone go somewhere. Then sit or lay down and close my eyes, slowly going back through my mind looking at myself at different ages. When I get to the youngest memory of me look at what I was doing. See everything I could see then, talk to the little girl I saw there and introduce myself as I saw fit. Offer to be her friend and then hold her and comfort her. Cry with her, rock her and gave her all the love you never got. Let her tell you about all the things she saw as unfair, scary, painful, you name it. Just spend all the time you can with her. Play with her, yell at the unfairness of being 3, 4, and 5 years old, throw things if you want.
Stomp, kick, rage...FEEL FEEL FEEL !
Then when you both are calm and serine tell her you have to go but you will be back because she is your best friend.
Go back thru the years as you can. You are now what you needed then, you give you what you lacked.
This saved my life. I still go play with her at all ages. It is direct and simple and it will teach you why you do the things you do now and helpYou you change them.
