Dear Bubbles,
     While it is true that April showers bring May flowers, they also bring the tax man who is generally  in a foul temper from being wet. As in much of life, things tend to balance out . The universe balances yin and yang although occasionaly it will drop one or the other.

     As to May showers: While they don't occur as often as the April ones, they make up for it in intensity and duration and generally bring forth aging hippies with flowers in their hair. I also noticed that you left out June showers which bring forth brides and wet bridesmaids wearing hideous dresses that they will never wear again.
