Hello Ubergato

I found some cookies from MSN groups and was wondering if I could disable them or delete them. Are they needed to belong to MSN groups?
What if I belong to a shuttered (I guess restricted) group?

Some things about groups and cookies.  The cookie on your computer identifies you as a member.  You can sign in, get a cookie, and if your cookie is blocked you won't be able to post.  When you sign in, that identifies you to MSN, and is the way you gain entrance in a closed group.  When you delete a cookie you only have to sign in again to regain it.  When  you block a cookie, you will loose the functionality assigned to that cookie... posting, for instance.

Hi there Superduperman! :>) As HGP said some cookies are neccessary for MSN groups, but not nearly as many as they load you with.  I use an excellent little free program to manage my cookies and keep them to the bare minimum. It is called Win Patrol and you can get it free at  http://www.winpatrol.com/winpatrolplus.html . It will also alert you when any new programs or files are added to your start up programs or active programs and allows you to monitor them as well.
I have reduced my MSN cookies to a total of four and have blocked all others I also blocked any cookies in my name and made them use anyuser cookies instead. Check out the program and let me know if you like it. :>)

The program also allows you to selectively block cookies from any of the spyware ad agencies such as double click and many others. :>)
