My question(s) is ~ I have Earthlink for my internet, on the top part of the screen says address, to go there. HOW DO I DELETE THEM???? Its so driving my crazy as there are alot. I deleted cookies as I was told but that did not help. also Who is and what does that little "Hollywood sunglass dude" stand for? Thanks I baked you a cake for your time........ t.
Hey there Attacking Toad :>) It sounds like earthlink has a toolbar at the top of your browser that is probably packaged with your service. Don't know if that can be removed. The smiling dude by your name was a new thing instituted by MSN and is put there when you register your nickname. The only way to get rid of it is to use a slightly different name and don't register it with MSN. Hope this helps you out. :>)
I have Earthlink, also, and the "address" part you are talking about is in the top of the internet explorer, not the Earthlink toolbar (which you can remove, or move to side, top or bottom).
I don't think you can do anything about the address bar, except just live with it, sorry.
