The Fourth Law is so right, eViL pOp TaRt!
Two things come immediately to mind:
The paintings of François Boucher, "Bolero," by Ravel, "Kanon in D" by Pachelbel.
Boucher's paintings are decorations: decor for a boudoir, and cheesy, at that. The 18th century equivalent of the Swimsuit Calendar.
But his ouevre is solid when compared with the academic art of the late 19th century!
"Bolero" is monotonous; as is Pachelbel's "Kanon in D."
Will future generations have such horrors as "The Thong Song" labeled as "great music" or "art."?
