One day last fall it was drizzling outside and I wandered out on my front porch with a cup of coffee in my hand and sat down in one of the wicker chairs I have out there. I was just sipping my coffee and staring out across the road that runs in front of my house and watching the fine mist lay down its welcomed relief from the hot dusty summer we had gone through, when out of the corner of my eye I caught Jingle Bob's pickup rumbling down the road toward my drive. It slowed and the pickup turned in and stopped and JingleBob unfolded from the seat and ambled over to the porch. Now  I have lots of friends around here. There is serious ones, opinionated ones, nice ones, and then there is goofy ones and Jingle Bob fits into that catagore.
Nobody knows how Jingle Bob got his name , However we did noticed if you shook Jing real hard his brains sorta rattled. Anyway Jing came on the porch , pitched me a hi and walked inside know exactly where the coffee was. After a few minutes he came back out mug in hand and sat down heavily in the other wicker on the porch. We didn't really say anything , anything we had interesting to say to each other had been long said and we just sat there watching the soft rain living up or water craving land. After about twenty minutes Jingle sort of sat up and turned his head down the road, Well I look to where he was looking and saw a frog hopping slowly down the road toward my drive. We watched it all the way and when it got even with my drive it suddenly made a left turn and hopped up behind Jingle's pickup.  Well, sir, Jingle muttered something I really didn't understand and got up and walked over behind his pickup and started stomping on that frog. He stomped and stomped and stomped some more and finally after he had mingled the frogs remains into my driveway he walked back over to the porch and sat down with a sullen look on his face. I started to ask , but decided not to afraid I might get an answer and we turned back to the drizzle and the field across the road. After about ten minutes Jingles Bob said, " Darn frog, its been following me all day."    LOL

Heh cute story Dan. :>)  Of course, the story might have had a different ending if he had only taken the time to kiss the frog....:>)

Aw, I love this story!  You know, they say that if a guy kisses a lady frog she turns into a supermodel.
