Thank you Sweet! That is very good information for people to have. Remember, folks, to make sure that the images you are saving are free. Otherwise, you could run into problems with copyright infringment when you use them. Using images that are not free without the author's permission can cause a community to be shut down. There are many good sites that have photographs, gifs, clipart....all for free!

There are many websites that have images that are absolutly free for you to use. These sites announce that. There are also a number of sites that offer images for free, and they ask that you place a link on your site to them....it is a form of advertising for them.

It is NOT OK to simply copy an image from a site and paste it onto yours. That is actually a theft of their bandwidth. You must download their images onto your computer and then upload them. It is also not ok to find an image on another community and copy it without their permission.

When you visit a site that offers images for your use, it is important to read their terms of use.

Thank you Fumble for clarifying that......I forgot all about that part.....

you can use a search engine and type in free clipart or free GIFs or you can tye in free animated clipart or free animated GIFs and a long list of sites with free graphics will appear.
