Odd Tutorials : animating animated pics that wont animate since the "Upgrade".

Ok,  Here is the scoop for the animations.(For the moment)....
 
1.   The animated pic has to be uploaded in to a MSN community photo album.
 
2.  go to pic in photo album and click on it to enlarge it.
 
3.  Then right click on it and select SAVE.,
 
4. go to post and hold down   the CTRL button and press  the letter   V .    
 
Your animated pic should appear and should animate.
let me know if this works for ya.  so far it has been working for me.

That's right sweet, they have to be uploaded into an album.  Right now, the only ones who can create an album is a manager.  Ubi has been working in the photo albums section lately and I am pretty sure that he is going to make a general album similar to the 'member's pets" album for folks to use.  It would be nice if everyone could have their own album, but each album counts as a page, and there is a limit to how many pages a community can have. We want to make sure that Odd People can continue to grow as time goes on!  In the meantime this is an album of mine that I created some time back.  Feel free to use that as a member's album for now.  I will go and change the settings so that you can do that.

Um, not exactly sure Sweet.  No worries, we are not even close. Just making sure early on that we can keep on growing and growing and......
 
Oh, and I keep meaning to tell you all that anyone can use pics from my albums if you want.  My albums are fumble, fumble.com, and member sig gifs.

Yep we have to revert back to the old way of doing things for awhile.  But if your pics are stored in an open community they can be copied and pasted into another community.  But if they are stored in a locked private one all you will get is a red x pic.
 
Hopefully this workaround will only be needed temporarily.
 
Sweet:  I think each community is allowed 300 pages.  But in actuality, it's more likely 298 for some reason.
