Have a question? The attached color pattern is my family portrait with my wife and 2 daughters. I was going to cut it out, sand it, then paint the pieces in the same color. My wife however does not get it. I told her it is my form of art but I do not think she will let me hang it on the wall. I have been looking for a different type of art form to do with my scrollsaw and this would be my first attempt at this kind of  work. Should I waste my time on a 3 foot piece that will end up in my garage? Thanks for letting me vent, lol.
Dave

Has she given a reason she "doesn't get it"?  Maybe she doesn't care for the colors you chose.

Actually, I spent 2 days on muted, pastel, our rooms decor, and every other color that I could imagine this project in. I like the brighter colors for a more modern art feel to the piece. She likes the 2'X3' family portraits(traditional style) of her side of the family and they loved it also. Maybe its one of those( she doesn't know until she sees it).

Dave, I like the picture, It reminds me of some of Andy Warhol's paintings. Here is his picture of Marilyn Monroe show it to your wife maybe you can find a happy medium.

I think you should do whatever makes you happy even if you hang it in your shop. Every now and then we need to try something new.
