I am so glad we have this section here in the Wakan Circle...and thankful for all the new posts.

Just the other day I found a message on my answering machine...from my exboyfriend...the abusive one. Said he wanted to "talk to me" which from past experience means he's looking for permission to come back here. That same night, while I was sleeping, my dogs started barking and carrying on...I woke right up, feeling very close to having a panic attack. It wouldn't be the first time he just showed up...usually drunk and/or high. The last time he did that I found out later that he had been in a fight and pulled a knife on someone...he must have thought he could hide out at my house.  I told him to leave and not to come back...or I would have him arrested. Even after that, he has still called...and if he persists...I will have to talk to the cops. Reading the new posts here has reenforced my strength...I know I have to continue to be strong and keep saying no...that he cannot come back.
