Personal Prayer Circle
(This is over a thousand years old and it works.)
You need to gather 9 rocks ...about 2 inches in size or smaller ,with one being red. Put the red rock in the center of your circle and make the circle about 2 feet round. In the West put the darkest color stone . In the South side ,add the white or lightest one. On the East side, add the reddish_orange . On the North, put the bluish color.. Then put another stone, close in color as the one there, between each direction. You must find the stones yourself and let no one touch them because mother earth has given them to you and you alone to use.Always ask mother earth for her children and thank her when she gives you one.You must not buy these stones. You can pick them up and put them in a bag for safe keeping and you can take them with you and reset them where ever you go .Please use tobacco offering after your prayer .This completes the bond with the Creator. Please use this circle to pray to the Creator .You will be answered .All you have to do is listen and watch Him talk to you.Remember these stones are sacred ,and only for you.....no one else can use them.

I would like to pass on to you what I call the Seven Circles of Prayer. |
SILENCE -- Finding a quiet place in your heart |
SPACE -- Making room for the Creator to speak in your heart and life. |
SEEING -- Seeing the Creator's work and creation and being thankful: The Creator is more than we can see or know. |
SUFFERING -- The Creator knows our suffering, troubles and heartaches and will aid us to learn from them in honesty, respect, and humility. |
TOUCHING -- Touched by the Earth and its creatures. Praying for those who touch hearts in both joy and distress. |
LISTENING -- This is a most important aspect of prayer. We are to listen and learn. The Creator is more willing to speak to us than we are to listen. |
FACE TO FACE -- We see the Creator in all that we do and see. We are stewards of each other and the creation. What we say and do, counts. |
Prayer is about generosity, humility and respect. It is great openness to the Creator's love to us, you and me. We are not to be modeled by the world around us, but to be continuously growing in our spiritual life. My own grandmother knew this. She and the elders have passed it on to us. |
Our Blessings for Our Circle
When the World was new the Creator had made all the birds. He colour their feathers like a bouquet of flowers. The Creator then gave each bird a distinct song to sing. The Creator instructed the birds, to greet each new day with a chorus of there songs. Of all the birds, our Creator chose the Eagle to be the leader. The Eagle flies the highest and sees the furthest of all creatures. The Eagle is a messenger to the Creator. During the Four sacred Rituals we will wear an Eagle Feather or hold. To wear or to hold the Eagle Feather causes our Creator to take immediate notice. With the Eagle Feather the Creator is honored in the highest.
When one receives an Eagle Feather that person is being acknowledged with gratitude, with love, and with the most ultimate respect. That feather must have sacred tobacco burnt for it, In this way the Eagle and the Creator are notifed of the name of new Eagle Feather Holder The holder of the Eagle Feather must ensure that anything that changes one state of mind (Alcohol and Drugs) must never ever come in contact with sacred Eagle feather. The keeper of the feather will make a little home where the feather will be kept safely and protected. The Eagle feather must be fed. You feed the Eagle Feather is recharge with sacred energy.
Never abuse, never disrespect, or drop and never contaminate your Eagle feather. Only real true human Men and Woman carry the Eagle Feather.
A Noble Prayer
****************************************************
**"So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and
Demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life,
Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and
Its purpose in the service of your people. * *
**Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend,
Even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and
Bow to none. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the food and
For the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks,
The fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and nothing,
For abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its
vision. * *
**When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts
Are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes
They weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again
In a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home."**
Earth Prayer
"Grandfather, Great Spirit, once more behold me on earth and lean to hear my feeble voice. You lived first, and you are older than all need, older than all prayer. All things belong to you -- the two-legged, the four-legged, the wings of the air, and all green things that live.
"You have set the powers of the four quarters of the earth to cross each other. You have made me cross the good road and road of difficulties, and where they cross, the place is holy. Day in, day out, forevermore, you are the life of things."
Hey! Lean to hear my feeble voice.
At the center of the sacred hoop
You have said that I should make the tree to bloom.
With tears running, O Great Spirit, my Grandfather,
With running eyes I must say
The tree has never bloomed
Here I stand, and the tree is withered.
Again, I recall the great vision you gave me.
It may be that some little root of the sacred tree still lives.
Nourish it then
That it may leaf
And bloom
And fill with singing birds!
Hear me, that the people may once again
Find the good road
And the shielding tree.
The Sunset
Then I was standing on the highest mountain of
them all, and round about beneath me was the
whole hoop of the world. And while I stood there I
saw more than I can tell and I understood more
than I saw; for I was seeing in a sacred manner the
shapes of all things in the spirit, and the shape of
all shapes as they must live together like one being.
And I say the sacred hoop of my people was one
of the many hoops that made one circle, wide as
daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one
mighty flowering tree to shelter all the children of
one mother and one father. And I saw that it was
holy...
But anywhere is the center of the world.
