Potpourri Stones
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 cup of salt
1/4 tsp. of Alum or Cornstarch
1 Tbs fragrance
2/3 cups of boiling water
food coloring
Mix these all together, I use rubber gloves so I can
mix the ingredients with my hands without scalding
them. Either roll them into stone shapes or roll out
and with a rolling pin use cookie cutters. Allow them
to dry for a couple of days or put in a dehydrator
overnight. You can put these anywhere when they are
finished and they will keep their scent for 8 months.
