Feather Hair Ties
Here is a quick and simple project to get us started. This is a great add-on to wear if you have long hair. They look great for pow-wows. Or even better, something cute, fun, and unique for little girls with long hair.
Materials
Work Steps

Cut 24" thong in half and set one piece aside.

Holding one elastic, fold 12" thong piece in half through the elastic.

Take 1 complimate bead and slide over both ends of thong up to( but not tight against) elastic.

Thread in order White, complimate, white, complimate beads onto one end of thong.

With complimate feather on top of white feather, glue feathers towards end of thong, then slide last 2 beads over quill ends before glue dries. Then go half-way up thong and repeat.

Repeat steps 4 & 5 on other thong end.
Now repeat steps 1 - 6 for 2nd hair tie.
