Siyo    I know that most of you know we have a board on the side bar thats for you to ask Question of the Elders...but it seems I need to explain something else about it. Its only for you all to post questions of us, Greywolf and I, and we will answer them. Its not for anyone else to answer them. Its not for others to post to the message thats meant for the Elders only. When different ones come in and ask questions then others answer them , it starts to get confusing,,,so please do keep this board only for the Elders and their questions.and answers ...wado

I agree, when I ask a question to the elders of our group, I would expect an answer only from an elder of our group, not from someone who is an elder of another group. I respect the elders here and if I wanted an answer from a diffrent elder I would go else where. This is my family.
    With much respect;   Jacquie

i respect your response. an elder is an elder to whatever group they choose to join or share. i belong to many and have alot to share. we are all family and or brothers and sisters in the walk of the red road. i will sit and read posts. but will no longer respond. attacks from other groups are disrespectful. i will bow out and safe journeys.

Yes a Elder is a Elder where ever they go  but we have to respect the guidelines of that place . You may share always excep where it says for specific ones to answer...  to do this it is not being respectful to these Elders      wado Annie

it is too bad that there is not a way to streamline emails from the group. i believe that if an elder is asked a question then it shoukld stay with that person instead of all to read. this is why i gave a response when i returned from a powwow. i do not usually announce that i am an elder nor do i announce if i have done any healing. this is all scred. i hope this clears why i even responded to this thread. safe journeys and wado. SoaringEagle.

I read and understand the protocol and will not make that mistake again.  A question to ask of the elders here:  I am, as you may already have guessed, very inquisitive in my search for traditional teachings.  If there is a question someone asks that I am familiar with and no response has been posted, is it appropriate to post to the managers what teachings I have learned to see if they are the same as what you have learned from your elders?

That would be via email and not on any message boards that I would post.
