CLAREMORE, OK �?The Rogers County Cherokee Hog Fry and Picnic will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore.
Chad Smith, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation will be in attendance, along with Deputy Chief Joe Grayson, Jr. and Cherokee Nation Tribal Council representative, Cara Cowan Watts as well as other elected officials of the tribe.
Citizens are encouraged to participate in the question and answer session.
Cherokee Nation program booths will be available to provide information to those in attendance. Visitors can tour the world’s largest collection of artifacts and art of the legendary Cherokee, Will Rogers.
