Siyo Lemmy, it sounds just as good as the other ones. It's made with a chamber instead of being hollow like my other ones. It's a little higher tone than bamboo simply because river cane is not as thick. You can tell by the way the holes were drilled that someone knew what they were doing. They are perfectly drilled.
Golden Eagle: You sure did get a bargain! My goodness I wish I was so lucky. I have never had the opportunity to play a cane flute. I would love to hear one. Mine is red cedar and I think it is in the key of A. Sometimes I wish I could get some higher notes out of it. Sometimes I think it's telling me that I can get the higher notes too - that I just need to keep increasing my communications with it. Blessings, Mira/Morning Dove
