I've had this bayonet since I was fifteen. The date on it is 1918. The initials on it are R.I.A. I found out that this is where it was made. Rock Island Arsenal. I found it in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. I attached a bald eagle tail feather (white). My plan is to take it to the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah and donate it (along with the feather) to the Cherokee Nation Heritage Center in memory of all that fell in the cold war and all the wars that our brothers and sisters have fought so bravely in since.
