Please Mend this Heart
O Great Spirit,
I lift my heart to thee. I ask Thee to please help me with this heart, that I have let become so filled with emotional distress, anger, sorrow , and compassion...from all who are around me. Please help me understand what was never ment for me but has found its way within.
Let me be Your instrument, yes this I know I must do , to let the sorrows,angers and the pains of others fill the spaces even deep within, to let them go.
I have forgotten what You have shown and taught me when along side me You walk in my dreams and thoughts and prayers. You have taught and shown that I must not hold on to things or others that cannot be , or part of me, nor should I hold on to ones that I know can not be a part of me.
O Great Spirit, , I ask Thee for forgiveness. Please help me to remember and to not take what is not mine.
O Great Spirit, , I hear Your answer deep within the blowing winds. You whisper to me: "my child, forgive yourself and those whose sorrow, anger and pain you have tried to mend and help them. Forgiveness is Key, my child. Let go of all of that, free your heart from all pains, let peace restore and heal your wounded body and soul. Now take a moment , my child, feel a healing warmyh surround you and purify your heart. Let it caress you like a sweet and gentle falling rain. Let that rain wash away all the sorrow, anger, pain that's there, and let it cleanse your heart. Let there be peace and joy once more within that precious heart. For you are mine , my child and you are cherished."
