I'm backtracking, to catch the posts I missed yesterday:)

 

I notice that there are more than one way of saying "thank you", (as there are in daily life:), so I'm curious, is one of these formal, and the other familiar, or casual,like when speaking to friends, or are there some occasions where one is used instead of the other?
