Hi, I want to try to explain what I know.

I am leaning Lakota and I was told that emaciyapi not really my name is but more "they call me"  as the pi indicate a plural. And the emaciyapelo is the mens way to say it with a statement. It is in the fact two words which are put together to one it is emaciyapi + yelo. A woman who wants to make the statement would use emaciapi ksto. The yelo for men and ksto for women is a little bit like an exclamation point.
