I am just me.. I am 37 living in East Tenn... Bout to be with a Traditional Cherokee.. That still hold's and practice's the old way's...
I am Blackfoot/Cree, Cherokee German and Polish.. No i am not carded... Tho it has been in consideration.. My father's mother's grandfather was found on the Blackfoot roll's.. For long time i had his name and roll number and up to not long ago I learned i could become carded with gov. and the Blackfoot Nation if i wished to be so..
To me. I don't need a card to prove who and what i am.. If i did decide to get registered.. It would be for no personal gain.. But of pride of my people..
My Husband to be is Cherokee.. We spend alot of time with Clan Gramma on the Eastern Band, when we are able to... Learning the language and hearing old stories..
My husband has sought to learn the Dialect with the 'Sh' .. For long time he sought, many had tried telling him 'There is not Sh in the Cherokee Language..' But then u go to the Eastern Band and it is the dialect with the sh they speak lol..
I come with open heart and open mind to learn from all... And I am honored to be here...
