Hi all,

I am a part Maori New Zealander (Maori being native people of New Zealand). I am 47 years old and have three sons and recently widowed when my husband passed away in October 2006 of a heart attack.

I guess you could say that a spiritual door has opened for me since then and I have being doing a lot of soul searching.  I have been told that I was an old Indian woman who belonged to an Indian tribe in America in a past life and it could be why I have always had a longing to learn more about the Indian tribes of America.

And I have often heard that the culture of the American Indian is very similar to that of the New Zealand Maori. We have a tohunga (healer) here in NZ who has always said that there is a big link with our Maori people and the American Indian.

I would really love to learn more about the culture of the American Indian and know that spirituality has meaning with your people .
