Last week my cousin crossed over. My uncle (her father) found her on the floor by her bed, early in the morning. She had some health issues (had broken her hip a couple of months before); was diagnosed with diabetes while in the hospital with the broken hip. Nita was a wonderful artist, painted and sketched such lovely portraits. Never had an art lesson in her life. She was such a sad little soul, she and I were close and had many long talks. I raised smoke for her the evening of her passing, that she may have a safe and swift journey home to the Creator. She was only 52. We all will miss her very much. I think now she is at peace...sitting, smiling, and looking down on all of us, her family. Tohidu Lautay |
